What happens if their brains get sucked into the machine and the code gets warped and it like so takes over the world or something? Not a good idea :P
May just be another aim at Last of Us contention
I think its a sad state of the mentality of gamers that such an initiative has to be taken up because of the ignorance and stupidity of a few, and I really hope that behaviour like this will become a thing of the past.
Brilliant Review - You should do this professionally
Another ludicrous debacle over nothing. Seriously! Now its religion in gaming too, whats next?
Too many zombies - too little time
Clearly this guy doesn't realise that games like GTA weren't created in the late 1910's and 1930's which were the period of the great World Wars, or that time when England, France and Spain attacked everyone. Humans have always had a sense of violence to our nature. Games don't make you more violent, unless you are unwell and believe that gaming is real life and in so believing, act accordingly. This is more hogwash. All these scientists should get together and rather find...
I wrote it, and I tell you I believe it. I really really hope that I can say that COD Ghosts will be the true successor to COD4MW. Then my faith will have been restored. I know that BF4 will be awesome, but Im in the mood for COD.
I would give it a try
I knew my couch potato days were not in vain. I am a couch commentator, a couch sportsman, and a couch coach and so much more. Thanks Holden for clearing that up, my mother would be proud.
Mental is all I can say - truly mental
Not sure I will buy this game. There are too many negative factors involved here.
I rarely find a sequel that improves upon an original, but its not to say they don't happen.
I dont think this should have gone as far as it did, but if it has a strong, influentially positive outcome, then maybe there is some good to come out of the whole debacle.
I think that interactive gaming is cheaper and easier than going out to buy puzzles for interest to let your child play. It saves space as well. It is progression, but as per any tool used by the youth, must be closely monitored by parents.
I think if a studio produces hogwash, they should have a responsibility to their consumer. Of course a consumer isn't entitled to "ownership" but rather having the right to voice their displeasure. I do think you have hit this one spot on though. Sometimes I am very demanding, but perhaps I get spoilt for choice.
I agree with you - hardly noticeable at all when the game itself for most part is such a huge positive
Yes, true - your last comment especially - but WE as adults need to make the informed choices.
Like I say, it comes down to responsible adults inherently taking the said responsibility and teaching kids about the good and bad of what they watch or play. I am not talking censorship, I am talking restrictions so what you stated here makes a boat load of sense, and the video is great in outlining how gaming and videos can be positive.
I want photo realism in gaming, where the images and graphics don't look like animated figures. I think the reason we want this in gaming is because it takes us on the journey we will never (hopefully) discover, and when you have that "realistic" element then it adds that non-fictional concept to a fictional environment.
