Yeah, okay, I might actually sign onto this beta when it comes around. Can't say I was hugely fussed before, but I enjoyed the Halo 3 beta, and this does sound like quite good fun.
Still haven't got one :( Guess I'm going to have to try these routes...
Complicated how? More complicated than the War 3 editor? I thought that was really simple...
Oooh! I can convert Warcraft 3 maps in? That's gonna save me some time and effort :)
I really, really can't wait for this.
Peter Crouch *does* look like he was produced from the imagination of a child, though...
That Passport system for EverQuest II is utter, utter tosh. Seriously. $5 for three consecutive days, and you can't do it more than once a month? That's *ridiculous*. If I actually see anyone using that I will HIT them.
I know I won't get in, but I'm looking forward to hearing more on it anyway :)
I've not had a problem with lag. I have a problem with being matched up against people 20 levels above me.
But what the hey, I play BFBC2 instead, these days :p
Eee. Been waiting for some more single player footage for awhile! *clicks*
And that's a pretty good price, too. Pay attention, everyone! This is how you do DLC!
Hah. Laughed more than once during this. Good stuff.
Sounds kinda fun, in a very, very cheesy way. Seems like it'd be a good laugh, but not for full price.
I'm unsure what to make of this. I wasn't particularly enamoured with the idea, but all of the people I know that actually follow MMOs seem really excited. I do really like the idea of Group Duels, but... I dunno. I'm still not sold. I'm afraid it's going to be quite generic.
I'm gonna eagerly watch out for these. The Assassin's Creed 2 live-action videos were great, and if I'm honest, it's the story in Alan Wake that I'm interested in. The gameplay doesn't look that amazing from what I've seen, so it's all down to the plot as to whether I pick it up or not.
That's... surprisingly in-depth.
Sorry, I should clarify. It's the damage I'm bothered by, but I fully agree with the reload time; that was way too fast. I just fear this is going to make mortars a lot less useful - they didn't do THAT much damage to anything with real armour pre-patch anyway, and any good player would usually get out of the mortar's area of effect sharpish, but they did provide some useful support fire against vehicles.
Ending mortar spam is a good thing. Killing mortar functionality is not. Gu...
I managed to miss the mortar recharge and vehicle damage decrease when the patch notes hit. Dammit. Not so happy about that - I can normally *damage* tanks with them, but it's pretty rare for me to kill one even if it's sat in one place.
Then again, doesn't the vehicle damage upgrade spec boost mortar damage? Maybe that should've been dropped a bit, instead...
Okay, I'm intrigued by the combat. I'm sort of disappointed by the lack of collectable cards, though. Yes, it was cheesy and awful in the first game, but it made it gave the less serious parts of the game a nice tongue-in-cheek feel.
That said, considering how hard-hitting some plot twists and moral choices were even *with* that air...
Poor Aussies :| I really hate this system. Why's it been implemented?
