Saiga-12 long-range fix is a good thing. As for the rest... ah, multiplayer tweaks worry me anyway. While my gut reaction is to whinge and moan, I figure I'll wait and see how it shakes out first; this might not be as bad as I fear.
Wow. I wasn't expecting a patch to actually add in something major like countermeasures. Going to be interesting to see how that changes the flow of play, certainly...
I'm still not sure on Breach. Graphically it looks like an Xbox game - and I don't mean 360 - but there are some lovely, lovely ideas in there. The ability to shoot out individual bricks, for instance. Gneh.
Oooh! I smell Old Republic plot hooks!
Saw this before - awesome review, with loads of detail. Just hope he's right, as if so, I've got a fun weekend ahead :)
Sounds good. Nothing game-breaking and no massive advantages - just extra cool stuff.
I know I say this every time, but I really do keep meaning to try this out. I just keep forgetting, and whenever I *do* remember I'm too busy :|
Hah. Okay, that's cool.
Whoa. Am I the only one reminded of Dragon Age, from some of those shots? And I have to admit I really like the character art style, too...
Gneh. This might actually be the first free-to-play MMO I actually spend time with.
See, I know that this method of unlocking annoys some people, but I like it. It's a nice extra bonus that's unimportant but fun.
That worries me. The slightly-off animations were one of the major things that bothered me about UFC 2009, and I was hoping it'd all be a lot more fluid this time around.
That's my evening sorted then :)
Interesting. I'd love to see more games built like this - based around diaries and first-hand experiences. I suspect it's going to be an amazing way to experience events.
Yes! Up with this kind of DLC. This is EXACTLY what I wanted to see for this game.
Indeed. On the one hand, if it *can* provide context and a largely unbiased look, I'm all for it. If it's tainted, though...
That's one well-rendered dashboard.
I cannot believe I just wrote that, but it's true.
I don't know whether or not exclusives are on the way out, as I have no idea how much money devs and publishers actually make from those deals, but I'm much happier seeing timed exclusives than I am actual console exclusives.
Not surprising, though. From memory most Mac games have crossplay with their PC equivalents.
A nice touch, nonetheless.
Considering the number of Mac gamers out there, I'm guessing this is going to add a massive influx of, ooh, six players to the Steam gaming world.
Er. But despite this "compromise," he still currently considers them friends? ;/
