At least that's another 360 game to be excited about. Twisted pixel is awesome.
I actually think this is a brilliant idea and I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner. Think about it, it's $99 + contract at the moment but imagine in the future when they lower the price, the idea that you can go into a store, walk out with a FREE Xbox and just pay a monthly subscription?
I have to admit if they have a similar deal when the 720 is released I would definitely consider it. Especially if it includes gold membership and possibly extras.
2013 will be ideal. Still looking forward to GTA5, bioshock infinite, halo 4, and the last of us amongst others.
It would be nice, but I think it's going to be 2013 when we see some real big games announced by MS.
I think they can do it, especially since we should see another price cut this year.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see it in some form sooner or later. I was however hoping that the HD remakes would be compatible with vita. I'd love to be able to play shadows of the colossus or jak and daxter while I'm on a train or something.
Good to hear. I bought it and thought it would be pretty good but I was genuinely surprised just how good! One of my favourite games from last year.
Good to hear, more games should do this. I've noticed a lot of the puzzle games on XBLA have a colour blind option which I tend to use.
Wow. I feel old...
This
I love the mass effect 2 intro, the first half hour of that game does a fantastic job of introducing a sense of urgency and really draws you in emotionally, especially if you had played through the first game.
The opening cinematic to RAGE was surprisingly cool too, and who can forget the opening to mirrors edge! One of few genuine 'wow' moments of this gen.
Half life 2: episode 3 please:)
About time we had an SSX game this gen! It looks awesome too, hope it's as good as SSX3!
Awesome, the first game was easily one of my favourite games on the ps2. Hugely impressive for its day too, brilliant cartoony graphics and no loading screens!
I'd love to see what R* could do with a gta set in Rio.
They're definitely a good thing. It's nice to see some genuine classics getting a nice HD makeover (shadow of the colossus looks incredible on my ps3) but I really hope we see less of the cash-in ones (Prince of Persia jumps to mind). I'm looking forward to metal gear the most, and I can't wait for more info on final fantasy x.
PGR5 as a launch game for the next Xbox would be incredible. PGR3 was one of my favourite launch games for the 360.
I can see where you're coming from, especially after looking at uncharted 2/3 but give advent children a watch on blu ray. They're a LONG way from that kind of fidelity, and definitely not on this hardware.
They should wait until technology catches up with everyone's expectations. I personally don't want a remake unless it can resemble advent children. Imagine those visuals with the same story, set pieces and characters from the original FFVII.
Genuinely good read. I remember playing perfect dark on the N64 all those years ago (and again more recently on XBLA) and its actually shocking how many steps backwards we've taken since then. You could shoot out the lights in perfect dark and hide in the shadows, bodies didn't disappear etc. Where did it all go wrong?
