"mediocre combat, sluggish story pacing, and hilariously bad exploration"
Well that can only mean one thing....
Good enough for Gamepass!!!!
He's having a meltdown on a personal level because he's reached the point of realisation that Starfield is actually a crap game, but just can't accept it.
And so the walls of reality have come crashing down.
The sooner that '10 year deal to keep CoD on Playstation' ends... the better!
Doesn't totally suck... wow what a compliment.
Good enough for Gamepass then.
"Although Microsoft only rarely reveals subscription numbers for Game Pass, for the past two years it’s missed growth targets by a considerable margin, causing Xbox boss Phil Spencer to miss out on his company bonus.
Nadella’s bonuses were also tied into it, as an indication of general Xbox growth, but this year the KPI (key performance indicator) has been removed, implying that the targets have been missed again."

Already consigned to the bin of mediocrity, also know as... Gamepass!!!
I expect it's a mixture of buyers remorse and self loathing for falling for the MS hype machine...again!
The sooner that 10 year deal to keep this jank on Playstation is over, the better!
Surely Sony will update the Portal to be able to be streamed to directly rather then needing a PS5 'middle man'.
Massive missed opportunity if it doesn't.
I wonder if the inevitable Master Chief CoD skin will find it's way to the PlayStation store then...
We're going to see a huge rise in retro gaming before the end of the decade.
Well this is our chance folks, get rid of GP & get rid of Phil.
MS is no way leaving the game biz, they've just forked out $69 billion for Activision and would not abandon that investment sum in just 4 years.
No...it's uncle Phil's neck on the line and it's time to vote with your wallets, get him out and get Xbox changed for the better!
It's called marketing tat.
What you expect a Starfield Rolex??
Just keep rolling it in glitter!
Trouble nowadays is that day 1 patches are so big and important now is that it's almost like the physical disk is now just a 'key' that lets you use the installed software.
The actual code on the disc (especially after multiple patching or even almost game rewrites ala Cyberpunk) becomes old and irrelevant compared to the latest version.
So yes you own the 'key' to playing the game and a box to keep it in. For digital that key is electronic and...
Ermmm Contractors??
As in reaching the end of their contracts?
That's not laying off.
I thought he said the enemy AI had 16x the detail though?
What they should have done is made the Series X only and sold it at Series S price, taking the hit on the hardware but maintaining parity with PS5 across the board.
Instead they've saddled themselves with an albatross that 75% of their customers now own, thereby making themselves and there games look inferior to anything the PS5 does, especially from Sony first party studios.
Spider-man 2 is coming very soon and I think will draw a lot of attention fr...
"Why need physical discs when you can have....GAMEPASS!!!"
"Still not sure, then let us make the decision for you... there now you can think of it as a Series S Pro".
Blimey, it's almost like MS don't want the Brazilians to buy it!
