If you played pc games then you'd realize that all Halo did was successfully bring first person shooters to consoles in a way where gamers weren't saying "Screw controllers, where's my mouse".

Other then that it didn't bring anything that wasn't brought before.

So yea. Stop being one of those ignorant kids yapping off about Halo and do some damn research. I know most N4g users know what i'm talking about. Yes it was a fun game and did have great controls , ...

Sorry, but if 360 users get mad over what Sony said about Lives interface then they better not ever get in a diss match.

I mean if Joystiq considers "Depending on what type of UI you have you can accommodate a lot of titles" a diss then they must have the worst comebacks ever or have never heard any good ones. Damn wannabe kotaku.

In fact nothing he says even sounds like a hit towards Live other then the fact the man is doing his job as a marketing exec and...

But I semi agree with mr. megaman games dev over here. The game DOES look like the originals that I played religiously, but that doesn't mean I like it.

Things have changed since 1989 and I say they touch the thing up a little. I mean I know retro is the new "in" thing now, but comon. I loved Megaman Powered up, which offered the old school gameplay with improved visuals along with others like super stardust hd, pixel junk monsters, and i'm really looking forward to bi...

I'm currently a ps3 only user, but I can't deny i'm semi excited for this one. I'm a gauntlet seven sorrows, baldurs gate, Monster Hunter and champions of norrath fan.

The previews done by mtv multiplayer and Kotaku both kind of called the game boring, repetitive, and short. Oh and that it's plagued with minor issues, but regardless of what's said I bet it's worth a rent.

I like that it has online co op, offers a vast list of weapons, and offers some nice visuals du...

For the severe lack of features this version has in comparison to the other ports.

Hopefully Epic stands by it's promise that they would choose the best mods and upload them to live.

If you eat fruit before it's ripe what do you get? Yea that bitter taste because it's still young and hasn't developed yet. If your patient and wait till it's ripe then you get treated to some sweet ass fruit.

I may already have 2.4 and in my case it's working great, but I'd hate for other gamers to pick it up only to find it busts their system.

You know like turning a joyous occasion into a scarring one.

Hell if the price gets low enough maybe i'll get another one. I had previous 360's bust so I gave up, but if it gets cheap enough I might reconsider.

However the only thing stopping me is the lack of games that appeal to me this year. Strange how things got swapped. Last year I was looking forward to more 360 games and this year the ps3 is surprising/impressing me with each new announcement.

For example I'm loving 2.4 so far and have 13 trophies in super stardust hd...

It's the fact that your getting some news exclusives, cool videos, exclusive demos, beta invites, and more.

Also I would just pay for the annual sub because this year might be the best set of qore issues. Issue 1 included socom confrontation news and a beta download whenever it comes, and issue 2 has Resistance 2 exclusives and that Naruto demo.

If each ep comes with something cool then you might end up paying 2.99 each month for a year which costs more then the su...

They had an interview with her and she's actually a huge tech geek. She'd probably kick all your asses in a who can put that computer jig-a-ma-bobber together faster contest.

They said something like she's the second in command of the largest guild in World of Warcraft and has worked for Cnet and other computer sites before hand writing a bunch of articles.

She ain't my type, but she's more then qualified for the job of a host on a playstation show. It's actually re...

I don't even know why there's any doubt at all. Trophy support will most likely be universal for all the new games on their way. Insomniac, Infinity Ward, and some others might've said they won't patch old games with trophies, but Insomniac has already confirmed trophy support for Resistance 2, and Infinity Ward said they would have loved to implement such a feature on release day or shortly after. So again...why is there any doubt for future universal trophy support?

Anyway

A tab on the left side said "Rentals" and another said "Purchase". Meaning we will most likely have an option to rent OR purchase media from the store.

except for the fact that this game has squad commands. I know it's supposed to add varied gameplay, but I usually just see it as babysitting in a game like this. Also if we're actually given time to think up and give commands then it's already a given that it won't feature as much on your feet action as 4.

Other then that the game sounds great. I love that it may have 2 player splitscreen co op, 4 player online co op, and returning/new perks. The graphics seem to be on par with c...

I'm actually a army of two fan. It was kind of too easy, but I had a great time playing co op with a friend. I understand there was a lot, A LOT of problems and design issues, but it was a good time and that's what games are all about.

Also is anyone surprised it said free???

I could care less about what this magazine says over another. Not because i'm mad they gave NG2 a 7/10, but because they really ARE entitled to their own opinion.

If EGM said NG2 is a 9/10 I still wouldn't care. Know why? Because I wasn't excited about NG2 as much as most people in the first place. I don't wanna sound like an ass, but it's truth. I'm just not hyped about it, which means I don't care what anyone says about it.

Anyway if I cared, I'd say good job game...

Ah you know i'm just playing! Ps Home looks like it's gonna be a lot better then our now low expectations of it. Reason is because it'll not only bring a party system to almost every online game, but also a way to connect with like minded gamers.

Who hasn't wanted to just drop into a place where you could just talk about games, walk about games, and debate about games? I know I haven't, but maybe you have?

(Naw i'm playin again!!)

Why even mention GTA among MGS4? Psh GTA IV, desired it, wanted it, pre ordered it, bought it, loved it, but it's got that one small thing that's over for me.

GTA IV is last season, old school, been there done that. MGS4 is the new fad so wait for it, pre order it, and when it comes we're all gonna play it, indulge it, laugh, cry, smile, and complete one of the dopest series in gaming history.

One love. I n' I be playin mgs4 off n' on propa

I'll say that I honestly didn't "adore" Ninja Gaiden on the xbox. Sure it was great for it's time, but when I went and tried to replay the improved version on the ps3 I just couldn't get with it. I had just beaten god of war (Late to the party) then tried to complete ninja gaiden sigma (again).

Unfortunately I soon discovered that every puzzle within Ninja Gaiden sigma always involves getting some sort of key to open some sort of door. The problem I had was that they r...

But then the bloggers on Kotaku that usually write biased sounding articles don't include Brian Crecente who always seems to look at things fairly. There are some specific people who put down pretty much everything and I think that's Brian Ashcraft and maybe Michael Mcwhertor (I think that's spelled right?)

Anyway my dream has come true. You can make a vertical level. From the very day I saw the first LBP video at GDC in San Francisco, I wanted to make a giant tower with obstacl...

Naw just playing. Now we have so much going on all at once that getting bored is a thing of the mother effin past! Getting commands during a battle, having bounties on certain players heads that give you more points, a ton of objectives, being told to reinforce another team. This in combination with the basic gameplay is like you just said my man...Straight crazy.

Imagine the teamwork now. You don't get a ton of points just for kills, but even helping another player kill another ...
