And believe me it's amazing. I've done a 3 page writeup on the beta so far, but I had to delete it due to the NDA agreement. It should be ok if I say that it has amazing visuals, but it's the gameplay that keeps you hooked. Think COD4 mixed with Team Fortress with some Gears thrown in. It doesn't introduce anything brand new, but it does introduce teamwork into the basic FPS formula with evolving objectives throughout a round.

Think going from team death match to search and dest...

Okay you can say that ps owners were angry about Microsoft's form of digital distribution and ads, but there's a solid reason and huge differences between the way Microsoft did/does it and the way Sony is going about it.

Number one. PS owners complain about Microsoft's mandatory ads and file upload limits because xbox live users are "forced" to pay in order to enjoy the full experience. What's the "full" experience you might ask? Well simply playing a game onl...

Whateva you make it sound like Pokemon aren't evil...

Oh and 2 sackgirls 1 cup could most likely be created in little big planet (judging from all the spectacular levels so far), which makes this guys fears even more unsettling haha.

Anyway check out my level. Heroes quest. Just search up fusionboxer and look at my only level. I had a couple all nighters to get the things working right so don't sleep!

The closest game to geometry wars on the ps3 is Everyday Shooter, which revolves around learning the chaining systems and "tricks" in order to either survive or build up that score.

Super stardust relies more on your decision making in what weapon type to choose and pure dodging skills. Whereas most of everyday shooter and geometry wars levels revolve around specific chains, Super Stardust has you fighting the physics and elements of each planet. Yes there are bosses in...

Other then the FFXIII announcement Microsoft's conference was filled with info we've already heard and mostly boring footage. Even ign said that other then the announcement nothing was groundbreaking and that sony could have walked away with the win if not for wada coming back out.

Then again he did so things have changed a bit, but Sony has never been one to rely on past franchises like Nintendo. They're always trying to capitalize on new IPs and I believe it'll be the same thi...

Not saying I don't want it and that it wouldn't be cool if it did, but gametrailers also listed Haze as a multiplat title on day one up till the day it came out.

I can finally play streets of rage 2 on my ps3!

Probably better then whatever nintendo has up their sleeves.

I definitely don't encourage sharing or basically the stealing of downloadable games (I still buy music cd's!), but it would be great to have a bunch of fresh faces in the game to whoop up on haha.

Then again I suspect as soon as trophies are released for the game everyone and their mother will be on it.

Then again they should have brought up the storage capacity to match that of the basic ps3 nowadays, which is at 80gb.

That or make every console have 120gb of storage like the elite. Actually I wonder how much it would cost to upgrade a current 360 to a 60gb? Seeing as the 20gb hard drives were around 60 bucks until recently I wonder if the 60gb is something like 80 or 90...

Well what I was saying was that everyone is dissing the ps3 for having a relatively small amount of ram available to the actual game, but half of the people that say that don't actually create games for the ps3.

I personally think due to the strange architecture of the cell, developers don't need as much ram to run things. The cell most likely uses alternate resources in order to pull out the amazing visuals, physics, and amount of stuff happening on screen at once.

I was one of those people that was disappointed to discover we couldn't chat in game, but now i'm over it.

However the reveal of a rumor like this gets me excited. I like the idea of being able to use the psp if we wanted similar to how it was going to be our rear view mirror for racing games, or even have our friends face on the mechs console.

If i'm not mistaken there was a picture that showed the feature in F1. I have it on my ps3, but not on my comp. I doubt it ...

But it's kind of crazy how much you guys care about so called "limitations" when the games coming out don't seem to reveal any of the "many" bottlenecks in the ps3.

It's similar to how I personally don't give a damn about whether or not the 360 is able to deliver better graphics for ports seeing as the original xbox trounced the ps2 in ports all day last generation with little affect on overall sales.

Basically is it possible that the cell doesn't...

Man i'm so excited for this. Can't wait to get the bad taste of commando 3 out of my mouth.

If they can keep the visuals as stunning as in the first video shown then i'll probably pick the game up just for the ride.

If there's one thing I've always wanted to do, but was never dumb enough to try, it was feeling the freedom of moving from one roof to the other in a huge city, while admiring the blue skies above and the buildings i've scaled.

I'm EXTREMELY excited for this one. If there's one way to get me to the store to buy a game, it's co op play.

Combine co op play and one of my favorite psp games of last year and i'm set.

Read the old resistance 1 time line. Towards the end it directly hints at the US military finding strangely shaped skulls and strange metal objects all around the western part of the United States.

It also listed Alaska as a new base of operations or something. All of this info was posted way back during the R1 days too!

Topic related though. This is oddly reminiscent of what may have happened to the underground base in Resistance 1 right before Hale got trapped insi...

Then again if they simply remade Killzone Liberation for ps3 with awesome visuals then i'd be all for it.

That psp game addressed almost every problem seen with the first game. It added co op, vehicles, much better pacing, vastly improved AI, very fun and interesting level design, boss fights, better online infrastructure, polish out the hizzouse, DLC in the shape of entire missions, a longer campaign, squad control, better gameplay mechanics, varied enemies, a slight cover syste...
