can't edit my own post, just started dlding PSASBR. Not sure why it's been delayed today, I thought the new face-lift for the store wasn't scheduled until next week. Was there any maintenance done last night?
yeah, I just started dldling PSASBR and saw some new content on the Vita, guess they're rolling in a bit slow...cool screen name btw :)
I don't think the Store was updated in my region (I'm in the US), does anyone else feel that way?
I don't see any new content, whether it's the vita or the ps3.
Actually, people should watch this so that they understand the game play mechanics. No pun intended, but I was in the dark concerning the game's core mechanics. I was expecting a journey-esque adventure, and it's a bit different than what I had imagined. Thanks for the vid.
Let's just hope Sega does it right with other Saturn HD titles. I'd love to see Burning Rangers, Guardian Heroes, Shining Force and the likes in a bundle or a face lift. It seems like it didn't take them too long to redo Nights, but in all fairness, it's a pretty short game. I'm just glad to see a Saturn port, and that it's been made possible. If Sega could do what Sony is doing with their PS1 titles, it'd be a dream come true.
" in the night...delight" I just finished Claris' and Elliot's sides of the campaign and I believe if you get all passing grades, you see the true ending and you also unlock Christmas nights. I never got to play it when I owned a Saturn, glad to see there's fan service.
I've had the chance to attend Distant worlds once and it was a magical evening. FF fans should attend, when the music comes to life you can't help but reminisce about your own experience playing these games.
The wait is gruesome but the rewards will be sweet. I can't wait to play online and buddy up with other vita players to kill baddies and monsters! Most anticipated Vita title this year.
WHY NO RAGNAROK ODYSSEY DEMO!?! :( me sad!
Ah, it was such a nice trip down memory lane. I just ended Claris' story line and the music is as magical as I remember it. Nights is definitely arcade style, in which you can redo a level rather quickly if you aren't getting the grade needed to pass it. Good thing the learning curve is short. I would've have loved playing it on the Vita.
It looks a bit like a modern version of Burning rangers from the Saturn days and a feel of jet set radio with guns. It seems like a fun game that should see a localization soon.
I will happily sacrifice my wallet for it!
Farewell old friend.
I think it's excellent news, PS+ is a great service for all the game it provides under its subscription, you truly get your money's worth. The vita perhaps needs to acquire the PSN games that already exist on the PS3: flower, journey, double dragon neon, I am alive, limbo, etc...Having those games would already boost the library but I can see how Sony is having difficulties buying the rights to all these games for its handheld.
I can't wait to see it on Vita, very curious to see what sort of games will be on the store. Whatever keeps me gaming on my vita, it's been great with the PS1 games and October is around the corner with quite a few games.
I am loving it, "the megaman" boss intro was hilarious, it's a nicely crafted game that doesn't take itself too seriously, and the soundtrack is kick ass. Then again, i love retro gaming so it is right up my alley.
just my opinion (of course), it came out on the wrong console. Ever since the PS1 , the playstation brand has been the home for JRPG's, and so to have it as an xbox exclusive was a bit of a miscalculation and a gamble.
It's now in the bargain bin for anyone to pick it up if they own an xbox.
wow, it looks innovative and it carries big names and well known characters; this would sell very well as a multi-plat.
It needs to come state wide and not just on a 3ds.
I picked it up the first day it came out, never looked backed and I've been playing it off and on, trying to platinum the game :) I liked the side quests (perhaps longer for the sequel and a bit more varied). I just want sales on the DLC, it's a bit short for $3.99.
I wish there had been some sort of outcome for the time traveler couple. I liked that side story, was very sad, which reminds me, the soundtrack of that game is awesome!
Wasn't Jet Set radio HD set for release this week on the Vita?
