I cannot wait to have this game in my hands and play for endless hours. I hope they have balanced the difficulty, I'm too old to be frustrated. lol
I was painfully able to follow when it came to production but you explained it well in laymen terms.
I don't see myself programming a game any time soon but a tip of the hat to those who do.
I think you'd do well to present this information to future students in programming at the high school level to get them interested and informed.
I always thought the colors were fitting for the gritty atmosphere Streets of Rage is known for.
Refined graphics and an HD update would be welcome, but don't change the color scheme, or try to capture the feel of it.
They are the guys behind PAX HD!?! That's too awesome.
I've invested endless hours into it!
Thanks for making such an engrossing and fun game.
N4G, you are truly introducing us to stellar developers and it's just the middle of the month!!
Aw, two things we had in common, we both bought and played the sega master system (no, I'm not old! lol) and we were both school teachers.
No wonder they have philanthropic endeavors!
As for the game screen shots, puzzlers of the 90s seem to be the inspiration. :)
I am utterly impressed with their work ethic as well as their philanthropic endeavors.
I cannot believe it's the power of two that can make such colorful fun games. I wish them all sorts of luck and support in their professional endeavors.
They seem like great developers and good people altogether.
They sound like two swell guys making great video games, kudos to these amazing developers.
I look forward to their future projects.
Sonya, Johnny Cage, Liu Kang and other iconic Mortal Kombat fighters announcement awaiting...lol
As ridiculous as it is, I do want to see the videos introducing the fighters, even if some are expected.
Edit: upon looking at the video, good God, those moves are fluid and fighting is extremely realistic, even if it's a fantasy based fighter.
Very impressed with the character models and how they move.
The vita was doing well 'til E3 and the lackluster announcements, but it wasn't until the higher ups gave less than confusing statements about the device that the concerns and fears started to grow.
Lack of promotion and bad mouthing what it can truly do, what are they thinking?
It has games coming, for that we are sure , but then you have people like Andrew House instilling fear into the future of the device as it stands on its own.
It should've been a ...
Uncanney Valley seems to be making its way to consoles, maybe a couple handhelds, my Vita would love it.
I am still unsure about the gameplay...will have to check it out.
Sounds like it's going to be quite a long game if you have to look at every corner of the map, kinda like Ys memory of Celcetta, although the genres are very different.
Healing a la MGS3 isn't a bad thing at all.
It seems like the game happens mostly indoors...elevators taking you to where you need to be.
I'll check and see if there are any gameplay videos.
Chills up and down my spine. I couldn't play this even if I were outside in broad daylight, lol.
Too scary, wish I had seen what the gameplay looks like.
Without any good/solid promotion, I'm afraid that it's not going to do well and as far as I am concerned, it shouldn't affect the possibility of a sequel.
I am more interested in HS2 than a movie.
There's nothing scarier than experiencing horror through the helms of a character. Movies I can handle, but truly scary interactive mediums, I sometimes have to pass.
But I'll happily watch someone play :)
I'd love to have this game on my vita.
I loved playing Syndicate, and had I ever had it on the move, it'd be glue to the screen, lol.
I'm gonna date myself a bit but I remember playing Syndicate on the PC, it was such a novel idea at the time.
Very engrossing. This game looks to be just as intricate and fun.
Syndicate meets hotline Miami, sign me up! :)
I think the pre-alpha, or alpha built threw me off but after seeing some updated gameplay, I am back on board.
It could very well if the idea is well crafted and executed.
I like what the title suggests, always sometimes a monster, and yet the word never doesn't appear.
We make tough choices and we are sometimes labeled because of these said choices.
It looks like the game supports all walks of life.
It will definitely incite some hard choices to be made. Well done Vagabond dog. Guess Naughty dog was already taken, hehe :).
To put it simply, no. Nintendo isn't often associated with shooters, and it's neither a good or bad thing.
But of course, Golden eye, which was developed for the N64 comes to mind as a classic FPS.
Splatoon is another reason why I bought a WiiU, not that I knew of its existence last year when I bought it.
As an educator, that is gaming music to my ears!
I use youtube as a teaching tool in my classroom. Well thought!
And hey, I really enjoyed PAX HD! :) So thank you.
