developers are sometimes bound to deadlines and that can strife the creative process and the end results, we have seen it with multiple games. Gamers, publishers and developers alike should just let the creative process take its course cause it's unlikely that we are gonna run out of games to play and the outcome could be quality games that captivate us for hours, days, weeks, months,etc...
an overall intriguing game with a solid mythology behind it and some cool level designs.
It seems like the co-op portion of the game is what's selling it to players on kickstarter and whoever's willing to back it up.
I look forward to playing it on my vita.
Moon hunters looks like my kind of game, intrigue, and action rpg elements, and what seems to be a great soundtrack.
Looks solid for a pre-alpha game. I'd play it co-op :) bring it on.
sorry for being a day late, being the 4th and all.
What a great looking ARPG, well done Crate entertainment. We can use more of those when Diablo seems to be the only memorable contender so far.
love me a 2d puzzle platformer, bastion, limbo, super meatboy, all great games...I can't wait to see this one on PSN.
Ok good, I think I got my answer while reading the interview, they are sony certified devs so that means they can release their game on sony devices, woot!
I do like a narrator in my stories (Stryx), it really feels immersive and removes the sense of loneliness, unless it is intended as so.
It shows that you were influenced by old school platformers, I sense some Ninja gaiden in the gameplay.
Yay for 2d plaformers with a modern twist. Story and gameplay driven is always the way. I wasn't wrong when I said it gives a Limbo-esque feel to it.
Good to know folks in Quebec are making great games, Canadian developers are kicking *ss this gen.
Kudos on being a three members dev. team and making this game look the way it does.
I know it's been Steam Green lit, but any chance of seeing this on ps4/Xbox/Vita? or other platforms?
doesn't hurt to have a cute puppy dawg in your kickstarter vid!
People are getting more and more imaginative to get funds from gamers and most of those games do deserve it...(I said most)
That game (lightfall) looks like limbo meets ninja gaiden puzzler. It looks fun, I want it for my ps4/vita.
Btw, are you also gifting those light fall t-shirts? I'd like one, please :)
Oh wow, hummm...has any console known to history been able to sell or ship that many units in a year?
The ps2 perhaps..? anyone has numbers?
It's a lot of hype for something we haven't seen. I just know that I want to see Nintendo thrive and be successful as I would any console makers that have been around for several decades.
Off topic: now in my crazy mind, they have paired up with Sega and they are making a hell of a console and will have Sega IPs ...
Seems like Booo was a great entry point for the competition, sad it didn't win, but did it help you revise gameplay or game mechanics?
Also congrats on winning with Agents vs. Villain! It must've been exciting and awe inspiring to see what other norwegian developers were working on. I sure you went back in the studio with more grit and desire to create more content.
Would love to know about the project you left on the shelf, it sounds ambitious.
It is nice to have an organization that promotes and backs up creative projects in the video games industry and films too.
Sure, we have kickstarter, that Norwegian model puts gaming in a positive light that telling developers, hey games make people happy so here's funding, go make something fun and you'll compete to see how well your games play.
Sad that Booo didn't win but glad Agents vs. Villain did. :)
Looking forward to playing boo on my phone and th...
Panzer (PZ) Catwagen is awesome, lol, great design.
Agents Vs. Villain looks like a fun local multiplayer game to fire up with friends.
Crazy how they got together, and I am glad they put game mechanics above anything else, although good design is also important and they have that one down.
Would love to see them expand beyond Ios and android phones.
Those bundles do look real nice, especially the xbox one with all those awesome games.
Feel like N4g already gave us an upgrade in the form of bubbles...craaa-aazy bubbles everywhere.
I'd probably buy Splatoon or some fun summer game with the amazon gift card.
Woot, Day 3 and it's going strong.
Those bundles do look nice as well as the amazon gift cards. It's nice of you to reward your users with generous gifts.
Already checked out Booo, hell of a fun game!
Now I believe that's what beetlejuice "the game" should have been. I love playing the Luigi's mansion ghost games and it's fun to play as a ghost and interact with the environment for a poltergeist effect!
Fun game. Hope it comes to the Vita as well.
Not on topic, Whoa Holy Bubbles!! lol :) I hope it's not a glitch.
All that JRGPG goodness, not enough money and not enough time.
As long as Sony helps out with releasing Japanese games for the device westward, then I am chill.
I hope TGS brings out more goodies for the Vita, we wont see AAA titles, except perhaps for Gravity Rush 2, but I expect a double release Vita/Ps4.
Would love to have Japanese developers create a game like Splatoon for the Vita.
This is like the E3 of indie games for N4g and the coverage of these games and the developers is extremely well done. If last year is anything to go by , then it's gonna be a fun month of July! :)
I truly love the jovial aspect of Uncle Jack and how quick he is to derail once the idea of Utopia at Wellington Wells is questioned.
It is a great video for a kickstarter, great production value and excellent dialogue.
It was a great into the story and it explained a lot of the plot. Now, I see what the devs are going for with their dystopian story and the re-mapping of the city once you die.
It truly is genius. I wonder how big the city is? I bet I can find that in...
You know I immediately thought of Contrast aesthetically, and felt a bit of Bioshock in its dystopian delivery of the plot.
The image of the water bottle not being of Wellington wells standards is hilarious, *side effects: being a downer*.
I also noticed that Joy is capitalized as a sign of it being a euphemism for the drug they use to "keep people happy." Or it's probably what the drug is called.lol
I am not a big fan of a town lay out that cha...
I just looked up shattered planet, looks like a fun tactical RPG, except I don't have a gaming PC so good luck to those who do and win a steam code :) seems well worth it.
