sure, it wasn't multiple layers of depth, but Kratos of GOW 1 and 2 was extremely likable, there could've been more character development, sure, but I never felt once that Kratos wasn't a protagonist I completely backed up in his quest to seek revenge. There might be more room now with this entry, given its early presentation.
it's a win to whoever it caters to, I like variety in my games and I like games to be shown, one after the other so I can be reassured I bought the right console and once again, I was reassured that I'd get variety and I'm very happy. It's been an excellent two days so far and I want to hear from Nintendo in a few minutes and Sqeenix later on.
This game could contain it all, great story and tight fighting gameplay. I'm all in and I want to see more. It's in great hands. Glad to see it have a presence at E3, the more press it gets the better.
Oh man we all thought suckerpunch was working on it and they've had their hands on successful hero games but I am happy to have insomniac working for Sony again. They worked up some major skills to create sunset overdrive so they are in a familiar territory with an open world setting. I'd like to see more gameplay. That swinging mechanic gotta be boss for this game to work as well as the fighting.
I wasn't bored or multitasking during the presentation so that's usually a good sign, it was games upon games, loved seeing gameplay and the orchestra was everything. Well done!
E-3 is a showcase of projects that will be due in the next 2 years or so, sometimes it's a year away and for some projects with road bumps, it takes 10. However, we, as an audience, want it that way. We ask to be told what they're working on and they put together a presentation that tells us: ah, okay the rumors were right , thanks for showing us what you're working on. It's not their fault that we want what we can't have at the moment, hehe.
probably a great way to introduce Crash to a younger audience so that the HD remasters are a commercial success. As of now, kids don't know who Crash is.
An under the sea journey. The visuals are stunning and so is the score. I hope it doesn't play too much on scary parts in the deep abyss, I have thalassaphobia and deep ocean swimming freaks me out.
That trailer gave me chills but those multiple choices perplexed me a bit. It's good to know that there are multiple outcomes to one situation.
I dont think they could've come out with an original release for Crash Bandicoot after being gone so long from the gaming scene, remasters are there to gauge interest for a new game. Let's just hope it sells well, people have been begging left and right for it, time to prove it's still a great series.
I dunno about that $399 price point. It is too much for my blood, but there are some cool games releasing at launch. I guess that's the lowest they could price it.
It sort of feels tacked on, anyone else got that feeling. Like it might be DLC. Would be nice if it's included with the price tag of the original game.
October 25th, I can wait just a bit 'cause it's just the start of summer but after august, bring it on!!!
And there were two dog bird griffons ...? what?
From the moment the orchestra started playing that incredible music and that deep voice came rumbling out of the shadows, I knew.
It took a few pages from Horizon in terms of gameplay, it seems. I hope it combines both, bc I need some hardcore combat a la GOW of the old.
Wow, instantly fell in love with the atmosphere and the visuals, as well as the beautifully choreographed moves. I cannot wait to see more. I'd love to play it, it has a thatgamecompany flair to it.
I'm very excited for this release and I'd like to see some gameplay before I decide whether I want to buy into it or not. I'd love to see an HD remake of the DC game with some updated fighting mechanics. Platinum games (without making it too colorful, lol) would be a great fit for that remake.
As much as I'd like to scour the internet for E3 news and post them on here, I already know it's someone else's better game, lol. I'll be a spectator because this time of year feels like being a child again and I don't want to spoil it with pointless endeavors.
I will be approving articles that follow those general guidelines. I appreciate those who are common users like myself and submit articles on here to make N4G what it has been since I first joined.
Thanks for the report, it seems like the developers who were attached to the project are now gone....so what's left?
So much JRPG goodness, I am so ready. SE is finally developing games I want to play. I hope Sony shows off FF7 and FF12 with SE on stage.
Can't wait to see what Level 5 has in store and what JRPG's get western releases.
I hope people were allowed to leave feedback, especially experienced gaming journalists (the few there are) to improve on controls and the camera work. Those could be major thorns in someone's side if they aren't fixed before release. Sure, the controls aren't always meant to be 100% tight because you play as a boy and I think that translates in the gameplay, but it can't be sloppy.
See, they should release these freaking demos on PSN so that players can leave feedba...
