I love TGS, second only to E3 but I must say that the coverage by the western media just isn't enough, I don't think they're showing most of the titles. It feels a bit underwhelming this year aside from showing some titles we were all expecting to see. No major surprises, I could be wrong.

I don't know that comparing the two, especially in terms of game quality, makes me feel comfortable or reassured about the gaming industry. Maybe it needs to crash a bit to send a message of humility.

you're right, it's easier than doing it on the Vita, I already have a japanese account so it's just a matter of adding it on the ps4 :)

I want a western release of a demo so I can see how it plays. The game mechanics are going to be a big factor for me for this game as far as a purchase.

Agreed, I think there's a dedicated audience for the game and we have been waiting for it and we will overlooks some of the less refined mechanics because a great story, or the attempt to, is in progress.
from the previews I've read, none of them seem game breaking and they are putting last touches before it's final release. I am confident that I will enjoy it.

Can anyone suggest a good gundam fighting game that plays almost like Virtual On?
I like Virtual On the saturn and the DC and some of them looked like they had the same type of gameplay but I dunno where to start.

I think the consumer will tell us right away what will become of ps4 pro and the scorpio as they'll speak with their wallets.
Will the current ps4 and Xbox one owners keep their current system or will they upgrade?
Gaming has become such a lucrative market that it is most likely that consumers will upgrade, if offered a trade up deal or if they're able to sell their current consoles at a decent price.
Some people can afford to upgrade their consoles with...

Hmm, hate to point out the obvious, but software is what got them leading the industry and the ps4 wouldn't be where it is if the hardware wasn't easy to develop for to bring in new software/IP's.
They have convoluted their hardware line up, slim, pro, VR, they might as well do bundles to make shopping easier on the masses.

Will the every day consumer understand that the slim is there to replace the current ps4 (don't think Sony is manufacturing it anymore) and the PS4Pro the next iteration?
I mean, as a gamer I get it, but announcing these two at the same time was not a wise move. I get that they want total living room domination by releasing the Pro around the holiday season before the scorpio or the NX, but I am not moved enough to buy a Pro yet.
Perhaps, I am too old school in my ment...

They saw what happened with Pokemon Go and experienced a boost in sales of their current and previous Pokemon titles on handheld.
They are just putting Mario on phones to only get the sales for it but to mainstream the game even more so that casuals eventually want to play Mario and other nintendo titles on the 3ds and upcoming NX.

But the one I do see...how unfortunate! lol
From an art stand point, it's beautifully made...

I'm sure they're going thru some growing pains with having an open world or semi open (not sure) and a non fixed camera. They probably hired some new talent or collaborated with Sony's other first party studios to figure it all out. It is a massive AAA and a system seller so I'm certain they have a lot of resources, but ambitious gameplay and environments can be challenging. I wish them well 'cause GOW is a game I want to play for years to come.

I cannot wait to get my hands on this, it's hilarious. Back to form with turn based combat and some fun final fantasy tropes. It also helps that it looks incredible, bright colors, fun to explore.

if it's a hybrid, that allows a home console set up and a handheld, it is best via cartridge but it will up the cost of the games, that's why sales on Nintendo games are not major sales. they cost a lot to manufacture.

thanks for posting the vid,the gameplay isn't the smoothest but it is fun and seems easy to get into, graphics remind of the that Ninja theory game Enslaved: odyssey to the west. Obviously this game looks better but it's giving me the same vibe.

Does fun with friends and family members still have a place in our living rooms? yes, I'd say yes!
Having the inclusion of online play is important at this point but not at the detriment of development time/gameplay/story just to include it. People who play online will move on to something else and at the end of the day I want a complete product.
