The PS3 is finally catching up. I'm impressed by Sony's patience with the PS3 and most have certainly paid off.
Hmm, all you seem to care and emphasis about is the game being subhd and ignore pretty much everything that the video stated. Have even bother watching the video at all? Metal Gear Solid 4 is in subhd and took at least the same amount of time to develop, and yet it manages to perfect score across the board. Let me give a short summary of what Alan Wake has to offer: Real time weather simulation (none of that pre-rendered bullcrap), extensive character light and animation; and near match clone...
I think Bungie going multiplat is the best decision for them. Share the love with all platforms. Now they are not bound to the hardware limitations of the xbox 360 and have more creative freedom.
I'm also particularly interested in is whether or not Bungie is going push the hardware of the PC and PS3. Are they going use any of the SPE of the cell and take advantage of tessalation for PC? Its really all depends on their budget which leads to my main disappointment of the deal, Ac...
The fall of Bungie now begins.
Enjoy your diabetes in a few years.
I excepted the bulk of the halo 2 gamers to migrate over to xlink kai and xbconnect.
We'll see when this game is released and the reviews come in. Although I believe Alan Wake is going to be one of the best games ever for the 360, it probably would be considered "perfect" for me. The games that qualify are half-life 2 and super mario brothers.
I'd buy a PS3 for the exclusives and features. And, it'll look pretty $#@% good in the living room with the plasma.
Can't wait until I get my hands on this game. Just until the reviews come out and we'll see how the arguments quickly shifts.
What makes an HDTV "HD ready" anyway? A monitor is more than capable of projecting HD quality than an HDTV. Resolutions of HDTV only goes up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) while monitors can reach up to 2560×1600 and even higher resolutions with eyefinity.
Exactly dirthurt. I couldn't have said it better myself. That it is frustrating when I see this misleading title.
I really think he is just a troll looking to build up his own name by slandering video games.
I think resolution does play major part in graphics. As a PC gamer, I try to configure the resolution to 1920 x 1080 to match the resolution of my monitor, even if it means toning down my other settings. More pixels on screen means less jaggys and no need to implement any AA.
While 720p is still considered HD, I don't believe its a high enough resolution. When changing from 1920 x 1080 to 1280 x 720 in BC2, the amount jaggys almost made me threw up. I actually had up the AA to x...
Highly doubt you're a biologist if you against using less paper. Here is a dose reality for you: LESS PAPER = LESS TREES BEING CUT. There is no way around that fact and you can try spouting all bull you want, but its still not gonna help.
I never really found HHG as a legitimate source of information and never took him seriously as journalist, but never have though he though he would get himself into this much trouble. Sure, he may smart enough to attract an audience by exaggerating the truth and sometimes making $hit up, but all that bull$hit will catch on eventually.
My advice to HHG is redubbing himself as a live blogger and not a journalist. He can spout all the crap and not get severely punished for it.
The squad system was first introduced by battlefield 2 for the PC, not KZ2. I played the game in 2006 and the squad system was definitely it own back in the day. It allow to spawn on the squad leader and even had a voting system to choose who would be squad leader.
I honestly believe the PS3 wins due to the diversity. The 360 exclusives listed are all shooters except for Geometry Wars.
If Killzone 2 was released for the PC, I can assure the controls would be MUCH more fluid and less laggy.
Oh great... another first person shooter. Seriously, I really want to play something different and once not have a gun on my hands.
Unless it was coming from the mouth of Rockstar themselves, this so called "Grand Wizard Of Foresight" is bullshiting for the attention and ratings. Notice this guy uses words "I've heard" and "I’m sure this is right" to pull the magical number of $75 million. Unless Patchers gives me a legitmate citation, his words are nothing but rumors to me.
