You look so silly now they've changed it. Do you think you can handle this kind of situation along with all the current economic troubles we're facing? Help is at hand in the form of a working edit button.

Thought I'd start over here as I'm not sure the report section is for conversations. Personally I don't see that this is lame or spam though definitely unfortunate. Another place for kids to play is being demonized in the press and it's relevant to debate it here. There wasn't a News4GoingOutside site when they started telling everyone that every ordinary bloke on the street is a threat.
If this kind of thing isn't discussed then we could end up with a situation similar to the UK where...

The problem with looking back like this is that you all, mich like people in every form of media, forget all the terrible cash-ins. NinjabreadMan, Carnival Games and all those movie tie ins will probably be forgotten in five years and only the likes of Metal Gear, Gears & God of War and LBP will be remembered. Or they could be eclipsed in the next year or so, if so great.
When I was a kid I managed to get hold of a NES. With it I got Mega Man 2 and Gremlins 2. No one ever points at...

Because we all want to buy things but not own them. That's called rental, it's in the dictionary look it up.

As it would be terrible if everyone in the UK paid similar amounts to the rest of the world for things. With luck this could lead to more games being priced in relation to their quality. This is a structure that works quite well in Japan for example where games that have been thrown together as a distraction for the kids are always priced at about half the price of anything people had to really work on.
This could also be an indication that games are becoming mainstream and that people...

Never before has irrational expectation been summed up so eloquently. In other news sackboy does not create world peace and lancers do not remove our dependance on foreign oil.

For those saying there's nothing on the Wii does this count?

A side effect of the huge amount of advertising is that reviews become pointless. People will go and see a film because it has lots of ads and not because reviewers say it's any good. It's already happening but do you want to see reviews become even less relevant to games? Shouldn't people who know about these things and are able to write about the problems inherent with an experience do so? Shouldn't we listen, take their criticism on board and decide to buy something if we choose with this ...

I feel there is a way of equating the entertainment mediums which has been missed here. I own a number of films on DVD but I never seem to watch them. Strangely though whenever they are on TV I will sit there as they pause it every 13 mins to sell me soap and ipods. If this collective experience could be replicated on a wider scale then people rill return to games. Release an old game with a contest for the highest score and people will revisit but it's not quite on that level. Once you add c...

Mr. Astley, go back to the day when Populous was released and tell me Molyneux never innovated. You remember 1989 don't you? When you had a career. Go forward to Magic Carpet and look at some scientific achievement.
P.S. Sorry about the career jibe, it was a low blow but the timing was to perfect to resist.

Sorry, tons over here in Europe. Hooray for strong currencies and rip off prices.

Is it me or is it marginally more expensive to buy the 6,9 and 12 packs than the 3 pack? It's only pennies but it's still a bit of a con isn't it?

All of which are passable theories which may come to fruition but there won't be man on Mars until 2020 unless something changes dramatically or you plan to live for a long ass time I think we're all you of luck. Vision is lacking in these areas. Who can fault that when there are people starving closer to home but yet nothing is really being done about that either.
Thanks for the bubbles, back at ya.
By the way Antispore.com looks, after more than a cursory glance, to be either a ...

I would normally let the fact that so many have already said it stop me from repeating them but in the face of such sloppy journalism I feel I have to say the words BETA and recent update again.
Plus recent trend my eye. TWO instances do not as trend make. Coincidence for happening around the same time maybe. Anomaly due to them being unconnected bar their nature as games perhaps. Trends require more examples. Or a certain kookieness if they are fashion based.

What about Jet Set Willy? Saying that I can't remember it right now, once I saw it all I could hear in my head was Tetris.
