That's funny. A shop here in the UK is selling the system with LBP, Motorstorm 2 & Resistance 2 free in the package. That theoretically drops the price by about £100 vs savvy online shopping and these are not throwaway games either.
I think that the best thing about this was that it was a sequel to a game which was completely different to it. Not something you see often.

The review has been artificially shortened in order to counteract the writers rambling style. The picture links tend to be slightly more in depth but the point is we are all busy and although we should be reading reviews many don't and just look at scores because they are usually too long.
I agree, the DLC is, as I said, just skins and more power to the weapons. If it was on a PC this would all be a bunch of mods. Bubbles for sticking to your principles and not listening to a weirdo like me.
On a side note are there any decent games around that are like this at the moment or do we have to wait for RE5? I guess what I'm saying is should people be buying Siren instead?
I'm not trying to push the game on you but playing it now I would say that buying the DLC would give you a load of either colourful or more powerful weapons. Both of which, for me, take away from the whole survival horror in a dark ship theme. Buy the game, have fun with it and don't buy the DLC. I think you'll be better off without it anyway. When I started I got the Obsidian Suit for free and it made parts of the game a little too easy. Ultimately I believe the game itself IS worth he time ...
That Duke Nuken one is actually a movie quote. It's from John Carpenter's They Live. Most of the rest of the quotes in it are from Evil Dead 2.

I see what your saying about petitions but usually they are things like bring X game to Y platform i.e. pointless and stupid. This is to do with a democratic process being subverted by a hysterical fringe using the kill what you don't understand mentality. Should an exception not be made for this?

My thought is that there should be more funny games but that they will probably under perform sales wise against more earnest games with more simple explosions. With Tim Schafer's games on hiatus until someone bites the bullet and publishes it and the next Ratchet & Clank probably a year away at best hope this can fill a void.
