I'm guessing you'll lose some of the gameplay if you take those high 5 notes out though.
It'll be ok to play with the normal guitar, but I think that if you want the full guitar experience of Rock Band, you'll have to buy the new controller.
Anyway, it depends on the tracks in Rock Band if it sells well or not. If GH3 has better tracks than Rock Band, people may stick with the norm, or it could be the other way around!

I am surprised that there is no Co-op achievements.
It does sound like pretty easy achievements. Co-op achievements, some numbered total of kills with a certain weapon and maybe some embarrising achievements that earn no points (like in Dead or Alive 4), would be awesome.

This just sucks ass for the people who can't or don't know how to import games.
The UK Classification board have probably banned this just because of the whole controversay of the first Manhunt and the murder that took place.
All this will lead to is more people modding there consoles, and eithre importing or god forbid pirating a copy of Manhunt 2.

Sounds great, but it just means that anyone who has bought Guitar Hero 2 with the Guitar now has to buy another Guitar to play Rock Band.

This is something that Phil Harrison should of done a long while ago instead of trying to cover it with more bullcrap that spewd out of his mouth over the past year!
At least he's had the balls to admit his and hit teams mistakes, and hopefully now keep the bullcrap to a minimum and concentrate on there consumers and provide them with the games and hardware they want, not just a powerful machine with impressive specs!

I agree. Although I only own the X360, once the big games start arriving on the PS3, that's when I'll purchase one.
I really would like to play Resistance: Fall of Man, but won't because it doesn't warrent my $600 for the PS3 console for 1 game.
Although Time Crisis 4 is not one of the big games that is a must play, I'd give it a go when I get my PS3.
Heavy Rain is not a PS3 exclusive. The demo ran on the PS3 at E3'06, but the makers stated that the game that uses the Heavy Rain engine (I don't think Heavy Rain is an actual game), would be available on the PS3 AND X360.
So that's 54 exclusives.
Also, you can't include games that haven't been announced yet. God of War 3 and Motorstorm 2 haven't been announced, so you can't class them as exclusive.

Add Multiplayer to Marathon and you could actually get a game to pass the time until Halo 3 arrives instead of the dreadful (in my opinion) Shadowrun!
All I want is the first 4 Monkey Island games released for the DS or the X360 marketplace. Clean the sprites up for the first 2 Island games and release 3 & 4 as they were. It'd be awesome!
I know you can run Monkey Island 1 & 2 on the DS (3 as well on the PSP), with the Scumm Emulator, but an official release would be cool!

IF Halo 3 is indeed to be split over 2 discs, one for Campaign and one for Multiplayer, this just proves how BIG and EPIC Halo 3 is going to be!
Remember, Campaign will have the Single Player experience, which will be huge, PLUS 4 Player Campaign Co-op which will need to be expanded for the 4 player experience. Bigger battlefields to accomidate the 4 players.

I think MS are doing considerably well against Sony.
The publishers obviously think so as they are porting what were once Exclusive titles for the PS3 (Assassin's Creed, Mercenaries 2, Devil May Cry 4), to the X360 due the popularity of the console!
It could be multi-platform, but from looking at past titles, a majority of the Silent Hill games have been released on the Sony platforms.
I think only Silent Hill 2 got a multi release on both PS2 and Xbox, with any of the SH titles just on the PS2 and PSP.
