Apparently the street date is March 6th, and I'm hoping due to the long wait Europe have had to wait compared to the states, that they add some of those DLC packs (especially the UK bands like Oasis) into the game for free as a sort of apoligy for the long wait.

I hope these are ingame shots, because if it plays like the first Resistance, and they fix the minor problems, it will be a superb game, but as we all know in the past, Sony are not shy from releasing game footage/images that are not exactly what the final game looks like (Killzone 2 springs to mind both the trailer and the airbrushed screenshots!!)

What about the short 5 hour single player campaign??
How about the lack of Co-op Campaign which is standard in most First Person Shooters??
As mentioned, loads of MP errors and glitches??

It sucks to live in Europe sometimes. I really want to play Rock Band, but because I live in the UK, I have to wait until March.
I would love to import a copy from the States like I have done in the past with Rainbow Six: Vegas, Viva Pinata etc, but of course EA Region Locked Rock Band so that is not going to be happening.
I think Assassin's Creed needs to be there on that list.
After all the expectations, it fell way short off what people were expecting. It looked pretty, but the gameplay was repetitive, something that people were not expecting.
was an excellent game, and is definatly in my top 5 games of the year, but my personal favourite game of the year is....PORTAL.
Portal was original, refreshing and had a superb engaging story and humourous computer that babbled all sorts of crap whilst you play. Plus you get to meet your Companion Cube! Loved it!
Mario Galaxy is also in my top 5, superb game, but personally I prefered Mass Effect to Mario.

at least you can import it from the States, everyone else in the world won't get it until March/April 08 if we are lucky, and we can't import the US version because it's region locked and won't work which is not a problem for Canada!

due to the amount of gore, it's going to sell a lot of X360 consoles in Japan. The Japanese love Ninja Gaiden, and it's a 360 exclusive.
MS are probably the only company to allow AO games to be released, where Sony and Nintendo won't release them (hence the Manhunt 2 caffuffle), and NG3 will be AO if the content shown is kept in!
I can understand that there are a lot of voice actors for the game, but surely they could of got the actors to do some different sentenaces for the citizens you save, and the citizens moving around the city. It drives me mad that something so simple can be messed up. It only a little part of the game, but hearing the same comment from the same woman twice in one city is bad enough, but over all the cities is a stupid decision.
Yes, the game is huge and will easily last a good 9...
If I was Jade Raymond I'd be more pissed about producing a game that doesn't meet the expectations that were promised when it was first announced than a crude comical image.
I've played through much of Assassin's, and it's the same thing on every mission. You climb towers to view your objectives, you pickpocket people, you eavesdrop on people, you save citizens, you help other assassin's collect flags, then you assassinate your target.
THEN YOU DO IT ALL OVER AG...
I have got both Mario and Assassin's, and although Assassin's is a pretty good game, it get's very repetitive.
You constantly getting chased by guards, even when your not doing anything.
With Mario, it's just plain old school fun. Always something new to look at, it's just plain good fun.
I'm switching between the two. A couple of hours on Assassin's, and when I've swore like a trooper for too long, it's time to chill out with Mario.

proves that you don't need a Blu-Ray disc to fit a game that looks and plays amazingly.
The 360 version fits perfectly onto a DVD disc and is 99.9% the same as the PS3 version with 1080p graphics and all, which shell's out a Blu-Ray disc using around 20gb of data compared to the 7gb DVD on the 360. The same probably goes for Assassin's Creed when that gets released.
If Mass Effect is indeed 6.74gb, it just re-confirms that Blu-Ray is still not needed at this pre...
If parents are stupid enough to buy there 10 year old kid an 18 Only rated or AO Rated game when it's plastered in a big circle in the bottom left hand corner of the box, then the parent should be locked up!!
It's just going to get worse from now one, especially seeing as they've managed to censor Manhunt 2!
I'm hoping for a Wii hack of the game! Making the movement of the kill makes me want to kill, whilst high so I can see all the wonderful colours when stickin...
It takes ages for those guys to release updates, so WiiKey owners will have to probably buy the original because retail copy will be out months before WiiKey release the updated code!
Empire is one of the biggest selling movie magazines in the UK, so somehow I doubt that this is a bogus review.
Empire can be quite harsh on titles when reviewing them. Some movies that have received 5 out of 5 ratings from other sites have got a 4 star and sometimes 3 star ratings from Empire, so I expect other reviews to be a bit more optimistic!
Compared to the original GH and GH2 this is one weak list.
The game has been branded with the subtitle 'Legends of Rock', yet many legends of rock have been missed of the list.
Then you have bands in the game with just average tracks instead of the classic and more wanted tracks (Iron Maiden's - Number of the Beast? I'd rather have Fear of the Dark or Children of the Damned!)
Shame, but I'll still probably buy it. Let's hope for some decent DLC at ...

I think this is a good thing for the gamers, but a bad thing for MS.
I can see Bungie releasing another title before the end of next year on the X360 that's totally different to the Halo francise, which will do ok, but nothing compared to Halo.
Then they'll start on Halo 4, which more than likely will appear on a new MS console.
Problem for MS is that the Halo francise is there biggest title on there platform, and they could pressure Bungie in mak...
the PAL Legendary sets are fine.
I received my Legendary boxset from Amazon.co.uk at 6am this morning.
After opening the big black box, and removing the discs on top, then removing the head which is covered in a black Halo 3 dust cover, I placed it on the base provided.
I opened the discs and I do have 1 x Game Disc and 2 x Extra Content discs with the AV Calibration on both discs, the Halo 1&2 cinematics disc and the Bungie Tour.
I wonder if Guitar Hero 4 will be out before Rock Band is released in Europe????
