A racing game with unmanageable input lag? At least all 40 players will be playing with the same amount of lag; if 40 people even pick this game up on Stadia. Last week I forgot to switch my TV over to Game Mode while playing Mario Kart and was losing nearly every match-up. I finally realized my error, switched it back over, then started winning most races again. This going to be the Achilles heel of cloud gaming. Single player adventure games, sure, but twitch gameplay games are going to suf...
Some of my best, most memorable gaming when I was a kid was during the hours of 22:00 and 03:00 on Friday and Saturday nights! And I never had any gaming addiction issues. It's all in moderation, and when you are afforded many different hobbies (which these kids probably don't get to have, based on where they live), you never have to worry about such things. I guess I'm just glad I never had to deal with communist laws
I'm excited to see how both him and Shu perform in their new positions. Shu did a great job at WWS. I think he will thrive in his new position too by bringing in all the new indie talent.

Agreed. Dropping Vita and PS3 has given good results for this year so far. I do hope they start adding maybe one PSVR game to the list at some point. Let people build up a base of games for that system to incentivize them to buy the headset!
Sony really needs to release the first one before it does a sequel. Just to gauge what interest it will have from the community. I imagine it will sell a decent amount since it's a game style that's right up PS fans' alleys.
I'm so glad I took advantage of the loophole to get XB Live converted to GP Ultimate during E3. I now have it for my laptop for two years and there have already been some really great games on it. Can't wait for The Outerworlds. Gears 5 is taking up all my time at the moment.
The light ball on the controller would probably be out of reception of the camera when holding the bat preparing to swing. Guess we'll just have to wait for the next-gen wireless, inside-out tracking headset for a proper baseball game...

First it was that terribly written gender wage gap article last week and now this oversensitive pile of rubble. VG247 used to be a website I'd visit frequently. Not gonna be so frequent now. I gave up on IGN and Polygon for the same reason. Too much pandering and complaining and too little actual gaming news

I definitely remember the rubberbanding in the high-ranked challenges. It was the reason I never finished all of them. You had to be absolutely perfect some races! It was crazy. With that said, it is easily one of the best racing games I've ever played and competing online was a joy to behold due to the pure chaos of it all. Huge adrenaline rush!
I heard CRT monitors make into nice fish tanks. Trying to control fish with a controller has bad input lag though...
My roommate is a diehard Steam guy and he buckled and bought it on EGS after complaining about it relentlessly. Claimed he wouldn't have time when it came out on Steam in six months due to a bunch of other stuff he wants to play at that point. Makes sense to me, but still, he buckled haha
The only thing Nintendo needs to do is overhaul the kart selection screen in 8 so everything isn't so random. It completely turns me off to trying new combinations because I'm afraid I'll forget the which options I selected that I had liked prior to changing them. Everything is too random in the kart, tires, and glider wheels. Fix that, take away the blue shell, maybe add in upgrades, and definitely new tracks and I think that'll be enough to justify a new game
Since you went through the full campaign on PC I must ask, does it have the same crashing issues that Gears 4 has with nVidia Pascal cards? I really don't want to be hindered by that blatant crappy coding again. I liked the Gears 4 campaign after I made it through the robot garbage at the beginning but the constant crashing every thirty minutes may make me want to hold off on this one. Thanks!
I've been trying to get through the Gears 4 campaign before the launch of Gears 5 but the myriad of game crashing issues I've had so far has been highly frustrating. I really hope they've fixed those issues for Gears 5. It does look pretty good
Oh how I would love to have a LAN party again. Haven't hosted one in probably ten years now
