Anyone surprised? Anyone at all?
If PS3 exclusives matter on sales, why doesn't the PS3 and their exclusives sell better? Uncharted 3 shipped 3.8 million and sold... 700K. It didn't even show up in the top 10 of its 1st month, while Gears 3 was still there (in its 3rd month).
Look it up.
Definetly. They went from 1st place to 3rd place in ONE GENERATION. That's a joke of a brand nowadays. People used to say "Nintendo" when they meant videogames. Then "Playstation". Now the average mom (and people on TV shows) say "Xbox".
Heads up: the PS3 version of this runs at sub-HD and at half the framerate the (720p) 360 version does. Download the JPN demos if you don't believe me.
Just another game in the long (200+ titles) list of subpar PS3 versions.
2007 was supposed to be the year of the PS3. Then 2008. Then 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Next gen will roll around, and Sony fans will STILL be saying "this will be the year of the PS3, just you wait".
The only RPG that sold better on PS3 was FFXIII, dear uninformed dude.
Don't buy the PS3 version. The demos are up on JPN accounts, and the PS3 demo runs like most PS3 multiplats: far worse than the 360 version. PS3 is sub-HD and framerate in the teens instead of 30fps and 720p.

The 360 version of the demo runs fine (30fps). The PS3 version, on the other hand... LOL. Framerate in the teens. But then again, no one that follows multiplats will be surprised as it is the norm.
360 demo coming TWO MONTHS before the PS3 demo.
Because Last of US and Uncharted are so creative, right?
Now get rid of Killzone, MAG and SOCOM too so Sony can try to make some shooters that aren't awful.
This wouldn't surprise me. The last two gens the most popular console was not the most powerful.
That being said, the 360 dev kits were FAR less powerful than the final hardware (which was BETTER than PCs at the time of release).
Look at the pre-loaded game list. This will be just for old neo-geo games. For 99 or less, this would be a good deal (as long as you could download any neo-geo game you wanted for a pop).
Real money doesn't go on sale. Points do. Anyone thinking this is a good thing is insane.
You can get points for up to 50% discount. Can you get real money for 50% off?
Sounds like BS. I Am Alive was scrapped YEARS AGO and started over with a small budget. You mean to tell me they knew about Last of US before Naughty Dog even started making their game? I Am Alive is older than Uncharted 3!
Just Capcom being Capcom. Nearly every company and studio is the same. Sony asked Naughty Dog to change their initial concept into something "like Gears of War", and we got a poor rip-off of its gameplay (Uncharted).
I bought for 18 bucks and it wasn't worth it at all. I'm 28 hours in and only a few hours ago the tutorial ended. Shit is more linear than Call of Duty (or any corridor shooter).
People defending it have nothing to stand on. There's nothing to praise in the game. Characters are awful, plot is convoluted, no towns, no NPCs to talk to, no side quests, everything is linear as hell, combat gives you no reason to look at what's happening onscreen. The option to ana...
You're insane. Companies CANNOT lie about numbers sold. It's illegal.
The only way to inflate is to pull a Sony and brag about SHIPPED numbers, like Uncharted 3's "3 million in a day" BS. The game didn't even sell 700K in a MONTH in the US - wikipedia has all the links, from the bragged shipped numbers, to linsk to NPD's actually sold numbers.
You have numbers more official than the ones from Sony and MS? Because those say the 360 is number 1.
