Even then that is still just sometimes. MAG is the only one that know for sure that uses dedicated servers. I think SOCOM did and Warhawk did, but I not totally positive on those. All multiplatform games are still pvp on the PS3. The only thing that the publishers servers do is match making, and some persistent data storage. EA may be an exception. I know they did something different for BFBC2, but I am not sure what exactly.
Black Ops has dedicated servers on the PC and that hasn't gone so well for them. Console games rarely ever have dedicated servers. 90% of the time if you are playing online on a console, then you are playing pvp. Play games on the PC if you want dedicated servers.
There is no way that second video is really from a rig with an i7 and 2 gtx 480s. That is what I have in my rig and my experience is plenty smooth. Some people are having troubles, but it isn't everyone.
Unplayable my ass. I have the PC version, and it runs fine on my rig. "Worse than New Vegas.", is one of the dumbest things you could say about it. Yeah, some people are having problems, and that sucks, but nothing on the scale of New Vegas.
I have all the consoles. I don't have Forza 3 though for one big reason. They told Logitech to fuck off with their wheels. They wouldn't let them make the G25/27 compatible without massive fees attached. The MS wheel is terrible, and any other comparable wheel is too expensive. I am not going to make another huge investment like that for an inferior wheel that I would use for one game. And I sure as shit am not going to play with sticks.
Call me stubborn.
They also claim to have RAGE in stock.... So yeah, this site is just run by the uniformed.
"They packed it in there pretty well. They must have been some pretty strong Mexicans or something"
wat?
lollonolol
From what I hear talking to local stores in the Seattle area(MS home area), is that the individual sensors will be in limited supply. They are trying to push the console bundles, so they will be putting most of their stock into them instead of selling them individually. This helps them with 2 goals: getting new customers, and getting current customers to get the slim. That is why the individual units are selling out.
The day this game passes cert is the day we get a release date, and not a day sooner.
I am done looking at articles for this game. I want it. I want it really badly. But with the recent delay, my heart has been broken too hard. The next article I want about this game is the announcement that it has gone gold.
They didn't show their methodology. Which 6 core CPUs vs which quad core CPUs. Not all are equal. Also which GPU did they use? What program did they use to count FPS? The i7 920 and AMD 1090T have very similar benchmarks with the i7 just out performing the 1090T most of the time. I would expect a better article out of PC Games Hardware.
Soooo. You would be the author, I presume.
I prefer girls with smaller boobs. I don't really go for big boobs.
I am really glad that Stopping Power is gone. I almost never used it, and it will be nice to see people out there that rely on it to have to figure out how to aim better.
There is no mudkipz. Does he not liek mudkipz.
When I saw this at PAX they were carding people before seeing the game, and again Randy didn't want any video of the trailer to be recorded. He was fine with video of the game being recorded, but not the trailer. It seemed a bit odd, but he is just making sure they don't get in trouble.
Am I the only one who immediately blocks out articles that tell me what I should be thinking? I am not too good at doing what others tell me to, and I only get more indignant when it comes to telling me what to think.
I got to sit and listen to Randy Pitchford tell a very enthusiastic story about how Gearbox got involved. Then kept going on and on even more enthusiastically about it is actually coming out and is in the polishing stages. He then led me into another room where I got to play it.
You want to believe that it isn't coming out, then go right ahead. But what I experienced at PAX was enough to get me to believe that it is coming out and that it will be a blast to play.
South Korea loves playing SC2. The problem is that they can't pirate it. Not everybody there can afford a pc that can run the game, but they can run the first sc for free. It is the same situation for the PC Bangs. Each player has to have a battlenet ID to play it, and that isn't cheap for them. Watch the GSL on Gomtv, and see just how much they love SC2.
