Gears 5 doesn't show Ray-tracing? Just 120 FPS
All of these accounts that have replied to me defending this game have all been created THE DAY they are writing comments, and all only have one comment, which is the ones being left in this article. You're obviously one person attempting to make sock accounts. Sorry, but no. I know you'd love to make it look like tons of people are coming to this game's defense, but they're not.
Furthermore, this article is now MASSIVELY down the list meaning it's fall...
So what you're saying is, they could still be developing this game in 2030, have raised over 400 million dollars, have still yet to release a finished product, and you'd still not consider it a scam.
Got it. There's no point in arguing any further with you if that's honestly your ridiculous position.
Fans of this game that reply to my comments NEVER answer my question because even they know it's ridiculous. Let me try again.
"How many millions of dollars must be raised and how many years of development without a release date must occur before this game is finally labeled as a scam?"
Give me numbers.
The art direction looks amazing on this one, but that enemy design... Was not a fan. Flowers just can't look intimidating. IDK.
How many millions of dollars must be raised and how many years of development without a release date must occur before this game is finally labeled as a scam?
Digital ships sell for thousands of actual dollars. I'd feel completely disgusting supporting such a product, and before I get the whole "Der, people can spend their money however they like". Yea... those same people are now the reason all sports games are a F***ing trash heap and riddled with micro-tran...
Sony seems to be showing an attitude of "We'll show when it's ready". That shouldn't be viewed negatively.
This isn't twitter. You're not gonna' get the typical blind praise from a bunch of idiots that don't even play games with a headline like that.
People blame PC, but honestly, it's mostly greedy devs that are CHOOSING to let these people come back with the hopes of them making purchases. Do you think it's an accident that people can simply buy a new key in say, BF3, and be up and running again in the same day?
Devs have the ability to see a system's unique ID, just like Windows does, asking you to re-register every time you change out a piece of hardware. Adobe is another example. When your trial of Phot...

Why?... The PS4 Pro is a decent margin slower than X... Would you rather have an X vs a PS4 Pro?... It's the exact same business model we have now. Slightly weaker but capable hardware, while delivering titles that set new bars... I think you're nuts giving up every Sony exclusive, just so you can play Gears, Halo, and Forza in 4k on ultra-preset... They did buy a few studios, but the Xbox fanboys that think MS is now on equal level with Sony when it comes to first party development a...
Literally nothing has changed... I think the vast majority of people would rather have a slightly weaker console and get games only Sony can make vs having more power with not much to play... This looks like Xbox One X vs PS4 Pro now... The pro is a decent margin behind the X... that doesn't change the fact that X owners are playing the same franchises that are steadily declining while Sony continues to set the bar for what a good game is...
I've been disappointed too many times when it comes to AMD and their graphics cards. I've been getting hyped since the Hawaii leaks. I'll expect nothing and be pleasantly surprised if I get something.
A dev intentionally dragging out the development process in order to milk more money from the community is a bad look and most certainly adds to the mountain of skepticism that already surrounds crowd funding. It negatively impacts all future crowd funded projects, both good and bad.
Let me ask you something. How many hundreds of millions need to be raised and how many years need to pass without a release date before you say "I think this company is taking advantage.&q...

DLSS has been really hit and miss. Control implements it well, but almost every other game yields terrible image quality yet is more intensive than typical resolution upscaling. You can YouTube "DLSS tested" and you'll get various videos from Digital Foundry, Hardware Unboxed, Gamers Nexus, etc. Implementing this feature half-baked as an added bonus for someone's new video card is fine, but to have handheld system based around it? IDK if the technology is ready for that.
There's no way someone who refers to a link as 'This internet' makes any amount of money online. Myth busted.
A company in China attempting to rip off someone else's intellectual property? I can't believe it!... Some cultures are such a joke.
How much money would have to be raised and how much time would have to pass with no release date in order for this community to rise up and call this game a scam?... I think we're well beyond both of those, personally.
Just checked again. Gears has 4k and 120 fps. The game directly beneath it, Halo Infinite, has ray tracing. Not Gears, at least on this table.
