That's the thing though. You shouldn't have to turn down settings for a "Flagship" GPU that costs 700.00 and furthermore, you shouldn't have to spend 1500.00 on a GPU to max out games.
Nvidia done messed this series up. They're gonna' launch new models soon, but for the time being, the current lineup they offer is sad.
Nah, that's definitely not true. I am neck deep in this stuff and watch everything like a hawk. AdoredTV put out an excellent video "Still Something Wrong At Radeon" Feb of 2020 and it highlights everything wrong with the Radeon team and their driver situation. Again, I'm eager for competition and would like to give someone other than Nvidia my money this time around, but they need to dump more resources into their driver development.

I think they could've released cards with 0 ray-tracing ability and I'd still be compelled to buy it over Nvidia this time around simply because it's slightly cheaper and with a massive 6GB VRAM advantage. I've never owned a single AMD GPU in my life. I read the drivers are terrible.
So long as major reviewers aren't boiling AMD alive with drivers issues again at launch, I think AMD is getting my money this time around.
This platform is beyond dead.
I'd like to give this game a try as it looks beautiful and seems to play well enough... I just can't determine if I'm going to hate myself for it once I never get rare characters and feel compelled to spend money on random boxes =/
I mean if you wanna' support a product that's close to a decade of development time, over 300 million spent, sells DLC for thousands of dollars a piece, and still can't even give a firm release date because milking a brainwashed fanbase is more profitable then simply releasing a final product and relying on sales, then knock yourself out I guess.
I refuse to support something so blatantly scummy.
It's not all about raw power though, man. AMD drivers have been a mess for a good while now.

I want the rumored 3000 series that's going to drop with double the VRAM once these have been on the market for a while... I straight refuse to get excited for AMD cards. They've been under-delivering for a decade at this point. If they launch something that can compete in the high-end and step up their driver game out of the dumpster, I'll be the first to buy as I'm tired of Nvidia continuing to nudge prices up... but I won't hold my breath.
I suppose for those that are planing to pair this with a 4k monitor, that could possibly be an issue later down the line. I'm personally sticking with ultra-wides 3440x1440 so I think this may be the perfect card for me.
No no, he's asking about the 70. it doesn't comfortably outperform a 2080ti.
It's more or less equal. These leaked benchmarks show It's a few % faster in some games, and a few % slower in others.
Wasn't he speaking specifically to users that are still on Pascal when saying that? That's what I'm on currently (1080 ti) and yea, I'd say it's safe to upgrade, honestly... 700.00 and I'm going to be getting something that's around 50-60% faster? Not to mention, I sold my 1080 ti for 400.00 just days ago so... It's pretty damn cheap if you put your old purchase towards it.
Seems like a great card / price to me.
So happy with the 3080's price and performance. So ready to play Cyberpunk in the best way possible, 144FPS, Ultra-wide
I'm surprised the regular defenders of this game aren't really in the comments.
A lot of delusional people are gonna' get slapped hard by reality when this game is inevitably cancelled. When you have 300+ million and 8 or so years of development time, you should have a finished game. I don't care how ambitious it is. If 300+ million and 8 years can't create it, then it's simply not realistic, or you've mismanaged the hell out of your time and mo...

LGBTQ is largely accepted these days and therefore, I don't see the need for "representation" which ultimately just boils down to giant corporations shoving an ideology down your throat for the sake of pandering and nothing more.
Arial is going to be black in the live action movie coming out.
Billy Porter (A man) is going to be playing the a gay Fairy God MOTHER in the upcoming Cinderella movie.
Whe...
Yup. Gay myself and I feel the exact same way.
My sexuality and this hobby I enjoy don't really have much to do with one another IMO. This makes me scratch my head the same way a gaming award show targeted towards vegans would... Just, "Buy why though?"
My guess is MS politely asked Epic. The product literally can't make anybody money, so why not allow a few hundred people that are still playing on 360 scoop it up?
I'm surprised no brain-washed fans have responded to you yet. The community behind this game is like a cult. 130+ million and 9 years of development with no release date... If that doesn't scream "Taking advantage" then I don't know what does.
I've already invested a good 30 or 40 hours into this game's multi-player and I've only crashed out of a match once.
The fact that flinch in this game is purely visual and has no affect on your aim is criminal. Snipers can be cross map getting shot in the chest and pop you like it's nothing. The fact that the class is getting a buff is a joke.
