This, and What Remains of Edith Finch. I love Mystery & Suspense with elements of puzzles in my games. The Witness is another title that interests me.
After playing through the usual Action, Shooter & Sport games on PS4, it's nice to be able to turn to other genres. Good to see PS4 has really diverse titles (like its predecessors) going for it.
Lex Luthor could have killed Superman in Superman II Movie, had it not been for his disloyal assistant who helps the weakened hero. In the right dev teams hands, I don't get how a Superman game is a bad idea, or that he is somehow too overpowered? Plus, it's kinda selfish to outright disapprove of there being a Superman game for the fans. Have not Batman fans (myself included) been well catered for?
Besides, it's a Video Game, of course Superman can be challenged....
I hope Polyphony just go 100% Premium and forgo PS3 retouched Cars. I would be more than satisfied with approx. 500 - 1'000 (PS4 Quality) vehicles if it means no delays.
GT3/4 is still the best in its class for the hardware of the time. Although for me, GT5/6 was a slight step back. The Gran Turismo series is my favorite Racing/Driving Sim of all time. Looking forward to GT 7 immensely!
Sales aside, the Wii U is a great little system. It may not be your thing, but I respect the other 10 million gamer's who might think it is their thing.
You should know by now what you're getting when you buy a Nintendo system, if not, you'll learn to do a little research the next time you're in the market for another Console.
I'd have loved Crash Bandicoot to appear in UC4, like in the background on an in-game TV show within a cutscene or something....like GTA 4/5 TV channels.
But that Mascot at a Ball game comment made by Lightning Mr Bubbles is a good idea.
@Rainslacker
Well you assume everybody would risk opening a still under warranty PS3 to re-thermal paste it, plus it's not my job to fix my own console, it is Sony's.
Your other comment/question was '...why would you try to replace a console at the store after 9 months? It'd be under warranty for a year, and that would be no cost to you .....and Sony replaced 60GB models with 60GB models' Wow the arrogance in your comment. So what do you k...
What's wrong with it looking like a PS3 game? I have zero issue with the way TLG looks. It's an Indie title in case you were not aware.
True, I know because my 60GB launch unit suffered YLOD after 9 months. Sony quit production of 60GB by that time, and HMV UK only stocked 40GB model. I lost PS2 B/C & 20GB HDD Space, even though I later upgraded to 500GB.
I was really angry until the pretty retail assistant informed me the PS3 unit had been officially reduced to £299. She smiled and handed me a 40GB PS3 plus £125 refund, even asking me to go pick out any game for my trouble. Made it a slightly e...
FF8 is great! ...but I'm happier for FF7. It was my very first JRPG ever. That Nostalgia is priceless. I'll take whatever pre-FF13 remakes the Sq. Enix wants to give me ;)
The Last Guardian could still have been a PS3 prospect, but not as what was shown on PS4 with improved lighting, textures & physics (individual realistic feathers). Compromises would have had to be made I'm sure.
Now, some Gamer's feel like PS3 Cell Architecture was the main culprit for much of the PS3 performance woes, but that's what separates the best dev teams in the World, from the not so best. ND & many other 1st/3rd party studios made the hardware s...
Past hiccups on both sides are one thing, but at least PS4/X1 are using PC architecture so the price point is low.
That being stated, I wouldn't have mind paying an extra 50GBP at launch for a beefier CPU. It is what it is, so I'm still happy with my purchases this gen.
So it's nothing too major then, good! Because when it did happen to me (3 separate occasions since launch), I had slight concern the PS4 could suffer motorized disc drive damaged, and that would affect my (Blu Ray) Games.
Thanks for reply Gamer friend....
I'd like privacy/hide online so I can play some games in peace without signing out, and friends online notification like PS3 would be nice. I'm too lazy to keep checking my very extensive friend list just to find a few key people.
Edit...
Every now and then (3-6 months) my PS4 beeps once, then randomly ejects discs, even with no disc in there. It will keep ejecting until I shutdown. I'd like that fixed in new update, as I'm out of warranty. Ea...
Admittedly I didn't read the article at all, and had I read it, I'm not sure I would have checked the original publish date either...Thanks for clearing that up! Now my comment is justifiably redundant. Lol.
The author mentions only completing TLOU weeks ago, so fresh in his /her head. Well I beat it 2yrs ago and I'd like a sequel thank you.
..and Horizon ZD deserves it. I'm completely intrigued.
Yeah exactly, it is a great feature, but it is silly to think BC could turn the tide. If X1 were to overtake PS4, it'll take a serious screw up by Sony, and hit after hit of excellent 1st party exclusive X1 games.
But, in spite of what I just typed, I don't believe in the whole 'Console War' thing. Just good games.
Yeah Blood 'N Bones and restarted on 'Death March'
...thank you for correction Lol
Reggie asks the fans for trust, but the Nintendo fans have anticipated a Metroid game for Wii U, not just 3DS ..and now those fans 'trust' that this may not happen in their systems life cycle.
It's such a shame because the Wii U is a great console. It's about great gaming experiences, not just the power of a system. Some of the greatest games ever made didn't have cutting edge visuals.
On a more positive note, NX is on the way. Metroid ma...
Newly joined N4G, so thanks for the pleasant reply Morganfell. I've always been attracted to PS for same reason as you. I'm planning on purchasing Xbox One at some stage. My ex-house mate picked up a launch X1 same time I got a PS4. He now lives with his Girlfriend, so I lost access to it. I notice MS are starting to diversify Xbox with some of the games announced @E3. Do you own a X1 as well as PS4, planning to get one, or no?
I can't say I have a system prefere...
