I've watched a few gameplay videos of The Rise of the Tomb Raider, all set in different locations, and more recently a 10 minute play on IGN. ROTR looks awesome on X1, but in terms of the gameplay I've seen, it doesn't look as though it's innovated much since TR 2013. Sadly, because of 1 year Xbox "Console" exclusivity, many on N4G have exalted this game, and I feel like it maybe impossible for ROTR to 'live up to all the hype'.

I'll admit my interest has grown after seeing the latest gameplay videos...however, much like Unity, I'll wait until Im done with some of the other big releases coming ...Fallout 4 )
This Generation (and more recently), I'd say both are roughly equal in terms of Games. It is true some of the games featured for GWG have already come to PS+. But Perception is Reality for Many, and lately the Perception is GWG has been better value than PS+ ....

I suspect all companies involved in this tech are establishing a market base, not essentially looking for immediate mass penetration. This is a walk, not a sprint. I expect the same for PSVR, and if that is priced at £299 or (likely) more, I'll be waiting awhile .... /

Huh?? ....COD, DESTINY and BATTLEFRONT are 'All' on Xbox One also, only w/out the 'Exclusive' stuff. There's more shooters on X1 including Titanfall, MCC & Halo 5.
I commend MS for trying to change the perception of Xbox being synonymous with Shooters/Racers by mixing up future titles...but generally most know what they're getting with the Xbox brand. This is not a Myth.
Nintendo bailing out of Greece kinda sucks for fans there. Greece has had a tough time of late. Seems like a test bed for an engineered Global Economic Meltdown (GEM) ...or maybe I watch way too many Conspiracy Videos on YouTube.

It's great MS improved/fixed the X1 UI...
I feel like it's because they had a lot to fix. MS have changed so many things since X1's launch, you wouldn't recognize it if not for the form factor, which could do with a change too IMO. The article compares to PS4, which IMO launched so flawlessly in terms of Dashboard Speed, UI simplicity of use, that PS4 doesn't need all these changes.

Compared to the iffy character models I saw in the 1st trailer released, this looks incredible. I was pleasantly surprised the visuals now look this good. Great improvement, and emphasis on story. Hoping for a meaty campaign /
