Wii U had a fairly 'Generous' headstart over PS4 as it released 1 year or so earlier ...but PS4 is closing in it seems. I'll bet PS4 overtakes at some stage in 2016 with or without NX.

I literally just completed Downloading it in no time at all. Took approx 20-25 mins via 50mbps connection. Seems those slow (pre-firmware 3.0) downloads are gone!
However, it may seem so, but the update is Not 17GB, that's the total file size of everything updated since launch. It's less than 17GB. Upon load up, you'll be greeted with two little Ad boxes on the main title screen for the upcoming DLC Expansions.

When the X1 Beta was revealed to run at 720p, I expected the Frames Per Second to outperform PS4 due to the slight advantage in CPU speed. I'm guessing SWB is possibly more reliant on GPU resources.
It's a shame many X1 owners are passing on SWB, and also funny to me that Halo 5 keeps getting mentioned in SWB threads. Wonder what the (real) motivation is? ...If they're actually serious, it looks likely SWB (PS4) will outsell the X1 version by a ridiculous amount ...

Keep the focus on providing the fanbase with quality products, and there will be plenty of growth. Fans (old/new) will remember the commitment, and will support the Next Xbox.
I've owned all previous Xbox Systems, and I'll be a proud owner of X1 this November. So I sure hope MS support the X1 for many years to come, and not move on to Next Box like OG Xbox > 360 /
