Yeah, Kojima did such a great job of connecting everything together between all four games. If you've only played MGS4, you don't know what all the connections are and get lost trying to understand what the hell is going on. It's like, for instance, reading the last Harry Potter book without reading all the others (okay, maybe that was a little exaggerated, but you get what I mean).
What made the MGS4 experience great for me was that it was the finale of the entire series. If you've played all the MGS games, MGS4 means a lot more to you. That being said, I can't compare the two fairly considering 1. I haven't played Uncharted 2 and 2. The series is still evolving instead of ending. But for those who have never played an MGS game besides MGS4, I can see you enjoying the Uncharted experience more, but that's just from my perspective.
Both games offer a cinem...
It's literally impossible to fit all the PS3 games I want into one list. Seriously, all of these AND Rachet and Clank, Demon's Souls, FFv13, and the list goes on and on!!! Kudos to Sony for making one hell of a future!!!
I sort of feel bad for you guys. All you guys get are endless barrages of Mario and Wii (insert name here) titles. You do have some great IPs, but Nintendo never uses them!! I hope you guys get a MGS game, but as for MGS5, please bring it to the PS3 where it can have the most potential.
You are an epic win and so are your games.
Sincerely, foxtheory
Thanks for not reading the article. I needed a good laugh today.
I totally agree. ODST is not worth the $60 imo. If it was cheaper, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it at all. But nothing I've seen assures me that it's worth $60.
I'll most likely pick this up used or when it drops in price, but for now there are too many other games coming out that require my attention.
Oh wait, it's from Eurogamer!! I think I'll just wait for some unbiased reviews, thank you very much.
if Lucus Arts stopped making crappy new IPs and made the damn thing already!!!!
lol!!
There's just too many!! God of War 3, Heavy Rain, The Last Guardian, LittleBigPlanet, Infamous.....
interests me. He said that he's been wanting to do it for a long time, and maybe he's been waiting for the best opportunity (this gen). This could (scratch that, WILL) be huge!! If he's excited about it, then you know that there's a AAA title on the way.
but I don't think Kojima would be the one working on it. He's already busy as it is.
I disagree with some, but overall it's a good list. I'd have to say, though, and MGS4 had the most cinematic experience in any game I've ever played. I hope to see a lot more games like that in the future that set an atmosphere and tone like MGS4 did.
was a HUGE letdown. I just hope that the reason they removed it was to enhance the experience and not because of small space.
Alpha Protocol

or can you order pizza from any form of technology now? I can order from my computer, iPod Touch, and now my PS3!!! lol!!
Oh yeah......lol!!
I played through the whole thing, and I no troubles at all. Same with all my other PS3 games.
Don't forget the new Ratchet and Clank (and Tools of Destruction)!! And if you're an RPG fan, Demon's Souls. Oh, and Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 are some great FPS's!! How about some Infamous and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (or 1)? Heavenly Sword?
And don't forget about these ones:
Final Fantasy Versus 13
Gran Turismo 5
God of War 3
Heavy Rain
The Last Guardian
L.A. Noire
