Hated the first one, and from what I've seen of 2, it looks very below average.
The rest I will get, though. I'm glad I decided to get a 360 and a PS3. It just makes next year (and this year for that matter) much more better!!!

A lot of recent games are going platinum, like Killzone 2 and Street Fighter 4. Kinda weird, but I'm not complaining!!
I'm saying that they should add the PS3 logo in it because it's not a 360 exclusive and they should stop treating it like one. Or maybe MS stooped down even more and payed IW to not put the PS3 logo at the end, because I don't see why else they wouldn't. If they want sales, then they should reach out to BOTH consoles.

The only thing that I didn't like was the very ending, the 360 "jump in" thing. Where's the PS3 logo? C'mon Infinity Ward, we know MS is paying you a lot for advertising, but would it kill ya to put the PS3 logo at the end? It's not an exclusive after all...

I thought games like Bioshock or MGS would be on the list, even if they have little to no real-world connection. I know Bioshock was based off of Atlas Shrugged, and I could have swore MGS had some sort of real-world connection. I'm probably wrong about that one, but I suppose most games these days are not driven by real-world issues. Sort of a shame, really. Sometimes that connection is what makes a definitive game, or at least the story portion. I hope some developers do that in the future....
They looked cheap anyway, even for display. If I REALLY wanted to get NVG's (and I don't know why I would), I would get a nicer, higher-quality pair for more money, considering I'm investing my money in it. I wouldn't get one just because they're cheaper and come with a video game. To me, that enough says that they're low-quality, they come with a video game.
These are one of those "it'd be nice to have, but I don't know what I'd do with it" items, or at least for me....
are the best new IPs IMO, especially Dead Space. IDK if it was in part 1, but Mirror's Edge was pretty creative, too.
Next year I bet Heavy Rain will be the best new IP. Either that or The Last Guardian.
But I think Blur was delayed to 2010. Nonetheless, October will be full of win!

You're absolutely right, but I was thinking more about how this could lead to different things. Like how MS could aquire Blu-Ray for the next Xbox, or how the Halo franchise could come to Sony/multiplat. It just seems odd and ironic that something Halo will be on the PS3. But then again, there are people with just a regular Blu-Ray player, so they're not just targeting the PS3 audience. I know I'm probably wrong, but that just popped into my head.
Who knows, but this looks simpley amazing, and THAT'S for sure.
But then again, a Blu-Ray release may mean something, whether it's in the favor of MS or Sony.
