No. Even if it was a PS3 exclusive and Kojima wasn't working on it (or has little involvement), it'd still be disappointed. And fanboy? I own a PS3 AND a 360. I enjoy both of my consoles equally, but when it comes to one of my favorite franchises, I just want to see it get the best treatment possible (Kojima's involvement). I never said it would be a BAD game. In fact, I said that I'm hoping this will be a GREAT game.
Play an MGS game first and then you'll quickly realize that without Snake, Metal Gear, or Kojima that it won't be the same. We all of course want to see this game turn out great, but without the mastermind Kojima working on it, it really won't be the same experience.

I already knew it was in production, and that it was rumored to be coming out in 2010. But this did make me more excited about it though!! I almost forgot they were making this!!

Yes, I will agree it was disappointing (considering the hype was too high), but I thoroughly enjoyed it for what it was. The graphics were great imo, and believe it or not, I thought that the gameplay was fun, but yet repetitiive toward the end.

Seriously, I HATED TFU!! Repetitive, bland, frustrating (Star Destroyer part), and the crappy DLC that came out awhile back. My biggest disappointment of last year.
but it did have its obvious problems. I'm glad Ubi realized them, and not only fixed them, but added some great new elements as well. Kudos for that.

I agree. The difficulty factor will turn a lot of people away, but at the same time will be the best part for others. For me, I'll most likely be in between.

And you're right about the pushy salespeople. When I bought my PS3, I bought it with a 52 inch LCD TV, surround sound stereo system, subwoofer, and a hanging ceiling mount for my TV. After negotiating a fair price with the guy, he kept going on and on about get a warrenty for the PS3. He sat there for about 10 minutes telling me stories about how he "knows people whose PS3s have broke". I have about 10 friends with PS3s, 4 with launch ones at that...
I'll probably just rent it and finish it in a couple of days. I already have Halo 3 for the online, and 3 new maps and Firefight mode doesn't justify a $60 purchase for me. And besides, there are tons of other games I need to save for, so ODST is a definite rent.
