Only problem is that games contain a lot of physics and AI these days, as well as a lot of audio and video decompressing.
This operation will cause the ps4 to slowdown, especially while the game itself is running, as the ps4 has no memory thats suitable for cpu related tasks.
The X1 however got ESram for the video operations, and DDR3 for the cpu operations, so its a much more balanced out system.

Thats not the way Ram works you troll, 1 GB ddr3 is 1 gb Gddr5, one of them is faster, the other has better timings.
What you are doing is comparing bandwidth performance, which is only one aspect of how memory works.
You dont even understand the information you post.

Gddr5 is not better then DDr3, in fact it is Ddr3, but with cranked up bandwidth, which sacrifices the timings.
DDR3 = better timings, more suitable for cpu related computing (physics, AI, decompressing audio/video)
Gddr5 = more bandwidth, more suitable for gpu related computing (textures, polygons)
And live is better then Psn+, and the X1 got more first party launch titles, and kinect is a bonus.

On the other hand, what does the ps4 do to close the "gap" on latency, where the X1 is superior.

If this is true, its mostly likely the video recording, and the streaming to the vita that eats quite a bit of background processes.
Bad if true, the memory could be a bottleneck to the cpu and gpu when lots of AI and physics occur, while the memory is filled with large blocks of graphical data.
This would only apply to multi format games ofcourse, i am sure exclusive titles would avoid these situations.
If this is true, then the Ps4 might have some memory issues compared to the Xb1.

By claiming that Gddr5 is better then DDr3 it shows you know nothing about ram, you are trolling.
It looks great, and people who played it at events love it.
And it may be Double Helix, but they are directed by the original creators, and those are senior professionals who know how to run a team.
