IMHO its wider then the 360, but thinner, because of this it may feel smaller to some.
If movies are art, then games are art, both of them share many of the same software tools to create them.

It deserves better, but not as a gaming device.
This thing is awesome as an XBMC hub, and i am enjoying it every day, no more cable for me.
Il just pick up GtaV when it hits retail.
Currently have the X1 with Forza5 and Dead rising 3.
And Rocksmith 2014 for ps3 preordered.
The Vampire design is unfitting, and kind of plain imho.

Japan its economy is suffering worse then that of most western country's.
They would have to offer the X1 at a ridiculously low price.
I think its smart of MS to wait out for now, on releasing the X1.
Also, they need to secure some exclusive killer franchises for the X1.
The exclusive J-rpg's early on on the 360 where cool, but not strong enough to get the Japanese crowd running toward the 360, the hardware failures didnt help either.

If nobody would buy it at launch, then the consoles would fail, nobody would develop new games for it, and the price would not come down.

I fear a deja vu, again Sony fans are expecting that X1 games will score bad reviews, in the end they will score great and Sony fans will call reviewers biased again....
Remember the Haze is gonna kill Halo, and Lair is better then anything on the 360, and omg, why did gears score higher then uncharted....
If you fail the button presses you get a less cool finisher, and no bonus.
This game is different fro other games with QTE's.
Most games with QTE's have them during cutscenes.
This game has QTE's during the gameplay.
I have yet to see a cutscene in Ryse that features buttons presses.
Its more fitting for Namco Bandai imho, becaue of the style of Atlus games.
It isnt on the rails, you need to hack at your enemy until they stumble.
When they stumble you get to finish them off.
Perform the quick buttons well and you get a gruesome finisher and more experience.
If you flunk the buttons you get a simple less satisfying finisher and no bonus.
Basically, the level of violence and points is based on how well you time your presses when the enemy is stumbling.

The first 3 where horror survivals, because ammo was scarce, you had to be really tactical to survive, killing every enemy wasnt an option.
Often you had to outrun the enemy, and stock up on healing items.
And you also needed a strategy to defeat enemy's, instead of spraying them with bullets.
The problem with sequels is if they try to fix things that aint broken.
Developers should try to be innovative without changing the concept of a game.
Less chance then that fans will turn their back on a franchise.
Resident Evil 2 and 3 for example where very faithful to the first one, and even tho 4 was a nice game, it shouldnt never have introduced those damn parasites that turned Resident evil into a drag that looks nothing like the first three. ...

I Expect Ryse and Forza to be the best looking ones until Quantum Break, and after that its gonna be between Halo and Quantum to decide to big winner of Xb1 gaming!
