If your a PS3 owner dont act like MS is the only one to do this, SONY pushed their pro duo memory at ridiculous prices themselves, just because it wasnt in the gaming world they tried it doesnt mean they dont have/had the same business idea.
Seriously the Wii just needs some very minor upgrades,
1: just play in 1080P your games are so simple shouldnt take much horse power to push that
2: Play DVDs for god sakes and make us all happy
3: Clean up your interface
All those things could be done with about 21 dollars extra on each system, maybe right now that doesnt fit their profit margin but on the next system those parts will be prob 5 dollars combined. No reason not to
Natal will be a neat interesting product that MS will market very well, and it will be a hit.
People are ready to try atleast new and exciting things, hardcore like us will stick to the controller with the ocassional try of a natal like device, but the main stream during xmas, will swallow up Natal like crazy.

This game benefits well by installing to HD and I love games being on the HD period just makes more sense, In the next systems we know we will prob have Tero Byte Drives.
Other than movies, optical disks are on their way out, and even for movies it will be half disc half DD.
Anyways on topic, Yes scanning is annoying , but just make sure one of your first upgrades is the scanner upgrade!

Abouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut time, I have said it a million times, PSN is weak because of lack of community standards with head sets, finally someone is stepping up and agreeing it screws up the experience with people lacking head sets, makes planning and cooperation a mess without them

You know its funny, last gen, PS2 owners loved their system it had so much 3rd party support and was NOT the best hardware
However now, 3rd parties dont matter to former PS2 owners and 1st parties do, and hardware and graphics are the most important, this truly makes me laugh because if anything the Xbox is more like the PS2 was and PS3 is more like the Original Xbox with its great 1st parties and superior hardware.

I have said this a 1000 times, most PS3 Exclusive that are blockbuster in style GOW UC etc, are single player experiences, meaning you play through once maybe twice and it sits. Even if they have a multi player component its usually not that good or a late add on.
Xbox Exclusives because of Xbox Lives standards and infrastructure push for a 50 50 in single player and online experience

This game is a 7 at best. I played the demo, wasnt impressed played the actual game yesterday for about 3 hours with my friend, its cleaned up, but still doesn't have it. First I would have given it a 6, now I would give it a solid 7. I applaud the effort but its just not fluid.
This game is a certain style that I just don't dig, its like a movie with quick time like events, it never worked for me. I can certainly appreciate the effort and style but its not for me

On Topic, My PC is mild at best SONY vaio notebook which has the processor but not a card for that, so xbox it is, but frankly its just easy to sit in front of a tv and play than a pc screen anyways.
I personally think the PS3 wand will be a failure and Natal will be huge, Not because one is really better than the other, just MS knows how to push new hardware much better than SONY with marketing

WIth that beind said I feel that SONYs problem is in there ability to get the social aspect of gaming down better
They make great games, however most of them are a 1-2 two times play through and its kinda it. UC2 Online while nice got old fast.
