This is actually a pretty big deal if you ask me, were now in the age where you cant play your games or system should something go wrong with an online component? Granted it will be fixed its scary to think that my offline exp is effected.

I agree the wii is a joke, a toy, and will soon be laughed at when other machines get motion control on a more TOY like style.

Well this would be a huge blunder by MS if not, however with that being said thats why it prob is. MS needs to really stick to its guns right now with SONY coming on with a onslaught of games
Alot of people talking about the PS2 and how the PS3 is selling at the same rate of growth if not better, however this gen they have real competitors that make it less ok to take as long as they once did.
SONY needs to take away some hard lessons, dont over price at launch, dont get arrogant and think you own the market, market well from the start
seriously I dont get it, this game keeps getting better news about it daily, you gotta think if devs on average were of higher caliber how much smoother better cleaner and more robust our games would be, I wish every company had a SMS and a ND studio somewhere
I personally think SONY is a better overall company however they just got full of themselves
"next gen starts when we say it does" they didnt think the new kid xbox had it in them however it wasnt that its that SONY had no idea about the online arena and the impact it would have
This is evident in the the time it is taking SONY to get PSN up too speed.

I agree MS did something no one else did and should be applauded, but so did SONY in 1995, and once everyone does it, no one cares who made it.
Nintendo did it with the controller, shoulder buttons etc,rumble, when is the last time you saw someone say, credit goes to Nintendo? None because 1 or 2 gens later , they dont care, its about current market standards not past ideas.
SONY needs only a few things to challenge Xbox live
1 Head Sets in EVERY box (for god sakes some people don't even know you can go online!, trust me I have met many that are like I can use a mic?)
2 What I consider the new standard core features of being in online gaming, cross game chat, cross game invite, are all consider standards now doesn't matter who made it, its about gaming online being fluid, those features promote those concepts
3 Interface, SO...
Heres the deal, on a Xbox its by choice in theory its mandatory for hardware wear and tear
Your DVD is a jet which then kicks the heat up, on an XBOX thats mandatory
and I agree arcade users get screwed, MS needs to stop being cheap @$$es and put a 60 on every system so devs can dev around around a HD on every system.
however SONY fans calm yourself this is only one of a few games that has actually been cross platform and looked better or been worth the ...
So hows is MS going to pull off the acc gig next gen, wifi will be included and the hard drives will be massice

bad move, with nintendo looming its evident, dont go all out on hardware, games are what makes a handheld device

EXACTLY I am ok with that, store the discs you need on HD and use 1 disc for playing, I dont see why MASS EFFECT didnt do this
