SONY learned well my friends and adjusted accordingly, the best part is, its safe to say next gen, price will not be an issue on the SONY side, nor will loss of quality hardware like its rival.

Agreed, even with the loss, SONY has always out smarted its competitors on one front, LONG term goals, the PS3 will saturate for years to come, and even at a hard ware loss, the PS2 sales make up the loss, and by the time the PS2 is flat, the PS3 will be at cost.

Gears is weak, its to heavy and slow, I like the grittyness but its just to slow and chunky for me, Ill take HALO or Uncharted over Gears any day

THe xbox games on average were sharper and better AA then the PS2, it didnt get better scores, you knew if you had an xbox your games looked crisper and ran smoother.
