Go back and read my post throughout the last 2 yrs on here, one thing I have always said that is consistent, MS cannot win because they are not a global competitor, Globally SONY will win. MS has not done enough to penetrate certain markets and I don't mean by throwing cash, some places laugh at cash, they believe in loyalty.

If we are talking a 5 yr life cycle (typical) then yes, they have lost
If we are talking about the New 10 yr standard (set by sony) then no, sony globally by the end will pull ahead
If we are talking a average meet in the middle 7.5 yrs then its a toss up

I agree I think 2 games per system is enough, one at the launch one towards the end when it needs a spark. If I were them I would make a new triology 2 new ones on the next system and the last one on the 4th system they put out to really make it go out with a bang that spanned almost 20 yrs.
I would looooooove for SONY to implement a new interface their current one is weak and looks very outdated. It doesnt have to be as cartoony as NXE but the concept of their approach is more relavent, Itunes store etc they got it down, make everything bladed pics with activity.
Amazon offers free shipping on almost all items over 100 bucks most of the time Im sure it was the same with the ps3. Also clear evidence price cut makes people happy =)
They charge 149 for 120 GB and a 1TB by MS standards will be what? lets even cut the 49 bucks off and go 100 per 100 GIGs
1k for a MS HD Nice, ok lets say 2010 hd prices will go down a bit so lets take a nice 250 off the price

Now will they actually release a HD that cost that much, prob not however does it shed some light on how bad we are ripped off now? Yep

I think SONY has a vision and 95 they showed it and progressed it, but I cant help but notice MS is doing what they did in 95. They said Were cool we get what you want and how you want it and were doing it, now.
Well this is what happens when devs think of your system as 2nd shelve grade, meaning harder to program for, which I think is weak, if some can pull it off then obviously they all can.
360 Came out first and because of that they got dev support in full way before, so with a yr head start as well as easy to code for, that makes a 2 yr gap pretty much SONY has been out a little past and is now catching up but not yet.

I dont agree, I think like you speaking of SONY making a profit, they say the samething, maximum profit. They are one of the same, I have said whent hey go 299 Ill pick one up myself, I had one at 499 actually but sold it. Point is if SONY doesnt go 299 by or on TGS, I think many will be done with them.

Well lets look at this, this is like a dreamcast mode, where EA decided although they would make profit they wouldn't make as much as they would with SONY. Act is taking the same step, they are saying were making money not as much as we would like.
Lets think here, the bottom line is money, with the PS3 costing a 100 more, they say thats 2 possible extra games. As much as I think Sony has a better piece of hardware they simply need to bite the bullet...
MS Instead of including a camera, try some of the following
Hard Drive Standard (adjust your price while your at it)
WiFi (really do I need to say why?)
Blue Ray or Make the HD Giant and offer all your games to DL as an option

You seriously make no sense. First off who in here will take you seriously with 360 on the end of your name, already means your bias. 2nd you talk as if blu ray and dvd are little in difference but you have a 120hz or 240 hz tv which isnt really that big, why didnt you just go reg lcd, since you dont seem to be into minor upgrades? 3rd Blu ray on a 1080P with 120hz-240hz, even ladies who walk in best buy notice it, and you cant? Your on the wrong site then.
I love the 360 controllers, and the PS1 controller was the bomb, but not to have the original xbox controller are you kidding me if you were 6'5 and size 32 shoe that was a pain in the a$$ controller, Im only size 30 shoe... haha
and still no one really cares, bottom line, they arent knocking out blockbusters every week, they have 1 really great game the Half life series which at this point there is really on 3 left.
L4D is temp sucess it will be short lived, its really about Half Life, with out that they are nothing, and once it comes out and feeds the hungry, then they are back to really having nothing as far as I can see, i just cant take them seriously anymore.
