I think its a mistake period to have the console higher than 299 on any bundle period anymore. I think they need to make a point of how low it costs to get a system now, not a higher tag, to me its sending the wrong signal
Im a google fan before Im anything, and hopefully this will open up an avenue for Google to Support some SONY products, PS3 and beyond (no pun intended =)

PSN set a new standard, Called FREE xbox NOW that the PS3 is the same price and PSN is improving monthly, MS does need to make a move
I say Xbox with wifi built in\bundled Live 19.99 12month that makes it 300 only lacking a blu ray player

Bundle wireless adapater, drop live to 19.99 and the Elite to 249.99
Then you you actually get everything you get in a PS3 except blue ray for the same cost.
Other than that , I always said Globally MS will lose to SONY over all however they took a large amount of mshare, which is the point.
I Agree I am a little baffled, if you go to gamestop they seem to promote 360 same with bestbuy, its like some secret deal they make or something, weird!

The most obvious eliminate your reputation for shady hardware etc
Wifi adapter
Rid the arcade of the lame no hard drive sku
price the elite at 249.99
drop live to 19.99
Then for under 300 dollars you have everything PS3 has minus blu ray
I will say this MS should indeed drop the HARD DRIVE less arcade, its weak and limits things a little. price the 360 with wifi adapter at 249.99 then, and cut the live price to 19.99, and people wont fret as much.

Now that I watched the video of the slim actually turned on, I def like it better, then I went to target during my lunch and they had one for the display model kiosk now, looooooks much better in person,
the blue and green light are much much better placed and the power and eject buttons now light up to me and look better than the touch sensitive ones,
I was on the fence but now, I am very impressed with the slim, will be grabbing one soon

So true, in person this system loooooks waaaaaaay better than photos thats for sure, when horizontal and turned on looks much better than the current one, a lot of comments thus far are people who havent seen it in person, its easier to appreciate it when you see it up and close. Looks more next gen up close
In general it cant be denied MOST developers prefer the 360 to make games for because of ease, and throw a small advantage its way because of dev time moves faster on it, that being said its getting pretty even now, but man it was hurtful for a while there.
Here is my take,
Vertically the old one is better, because you see it saying Playstation across and shiny
Horizontal the new one is MUCH better looking actually goes along with current set ups of receivers blu ray players etc.
I'm glad I watched this video I was on the fence about what model I want, but the lights layout on the new one is much better, I'm sold, slim it is now.

Cross Game Chat, Cross Game Invite, I do like it and I do want it, so its time they add it and quit with the small stuff, I would rather them put their time into those 2 features then all these other small ones, thats my opinion
