I think that list was only devised to balance up the XboxOne list. And on that one, the only realistic concern would be the reversal of DRM (again).
If Sony revived the Folding Home project then that would provide some SERIOUS numbercrunching horsepower.
Great move to make the DS4 compatible with (some) PS3 games.
With Sony continuing to support PS3 with new games, free online and PSplus....well from a PlayStation viewpoint its a moot point.
Some great gaming music mentioned above. I would like to add the soundtrack from Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning.
@gijsbrecht
Totally agree. ln fact Im salivating like one of Pavlov's dogs now lol Im sure its going to ring my bell on 29th November !
He's certainly leading Sony in the right direction - on the PlayStation, mobile phone and HDTV fronts. Its hard to imagine all the doom and gloom hanging over the company only a year ago. Now suddenly, they are a class-leading company again.
@zerocrossing
How dare you live in the UK lol ;-)
Kz and War Thunder at launch for me and Im good to go at the start :-)
Way to go Sony. Not seen anything here in the UK yet though.
@NobleRed
Thanks for that mate, I'll do a bit more digging now.
@NarooN
No, that's when it launches here in the UK and Europe. Happy Birthday when it lands, friend.
I cant get my head around this anymore. And I have to wait until 29 November :-(
Seems a decent choice of appropriate 1TB sata drives but not seen any drives bigger than that. Anyone recommend any?
@Monkeyfox
Are you Gordon Ramsey?:)
I read the "I'm off to get some Bovril" in Timothy Spall's Brummie accent, in my head lol
I think having a wide range of game genres was pretty much Sonys PS3 policy. OK, many weren't big sellers but at least the library was/is diverse.
I think the 4k thing is Sony, future-proofing the PS4. It will come and Sony will be the one to push it.
As for Microsoft, I honestly cannot see it as part of their long-term strategy - more a "we could do that too' thing.
Oh and for you young guys, 21 seconds was the time it took to get undressed, back in my day. Now........well......oh sh*t......forgot what I was going to say lol
The thing is, once you invest big money in some of the racing wheel peripherals, like you guys, its unlikely that you're ever going to buy again - or make another equally large outlay for another game.
A new car, in reality, is (usually) a better deal but the logic doesn't carry over, here and gaming manufacturers know this. They expect you to invest in their console and their games, wouldn't it be a goodwill concession to the gamer to reduce this extra outlay?
