I can understand going against the general opinion sometimes, like with poorly built rumors, but you just can not argue against this one. It's impossible.
I disagree with everything said in this article. Nothing about The Last of Us hinted towards it being an Uncharted game, but EVERYTHING about The Phantom Pain hints towards it being a Metal Gear Game. I can't think of one good piece of evidence against it being MGS 5.
Anybody who doesn't agree that the evidence adds up to this being a Metal Gear game is in denial. Personally, I'm not sure if it is 5 or Ground Zeros, but it IS one or the other.

how is it misleading them. Maybe it's called Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain. Maybe Moby Dick was created by Konami to create this game. Technically, that's not misleading at all. It's just not saying "This is metal gear solid.

Really? Name two metal gear solid games that were exactly the same. Each is different in its own way.
It has to be Metal Gear Solid 5, like it or not, that's how it is. Anybody who doesn't agree obviously hasn't played MGS 1-4. So many hints are dropped, and you wouldn't get most if you haven't played them. Why would I be tired of playing in the same universe over and over, if every game adds something new to it. It's not like Call of Duty where nothing major really changes. There is so much story left untold that us fans want to know.
It's funny how every argument against this being MGS V or Ground Zeros that I've seen are really ignorant. "Why is he missing an arm, Snake isn't missing an arm. Snake has both eyes, this guy doesn't." They obviously never played a Metal Gear game.
Only Kojima has the balls to do this.
I'd guess a next gen launch title. But I'd love it to be on this gen too.
The controller I disagree with it. Human beings usually love things to be symmetric, and it's really geeky to break the xbox controller down to that, but it's just awkward. The playstation controller has been perfect since the duelshock 1.
I agree with Ultr, this is a list of characters the writer can and can not play as. Sly is a beast if you use him correctly, and Sackboy is a beast if you use him. Big Daddy is almost unstoppable if used correctly. The only one I agree with is that Nariko's supers suck.
why are people disliking it? It's true. He could have said "Sorry, Crash can't make it into the game." and we would have all been good, but teasing him, that's just wrong.

haha I bet. Ps3 might even be 2 discs. Before I get "omg blu ray = 80gb" most devs double their game on there, so it reads correctly, or something like that. Either two discs, or a big download. Xbox has it worse, though
@BitbyDeath, nah, it'd be a 40GB on disc, with a 20GB install. That's pretty hefty.
Games like Crash Bandicoot, created to compete with Nintendo games, would not exist.
7.5 is probably spot on for this game. The gameplay is so good, but everything else is so mediocre at best.
