C'mon Forza 3 is a niche game even if they are trying to reach more people I doubt there will be to many that don't have a HDD in their Xbox. Forza 3's physics are much improved over Forza 2 and feel very realistic as shown from the demo(although I don't expect people who have never driven a car to know what it feels like). Forza 3's engine eats up alot of the Xbox 360's power and balancing the physics and graphics while keeping 60 fps is what causes the 8 cars on track and the lower detailed car models.

Forza Motorsport 3 vastly improved its tire system with the help of the Mclaren Racing Team and huge brand name tire companies. The grip is much better and so is the weight of the car. Also turn off all the aids and go manual w/ clutch and try to keep up with the leaderboard times its harder than hell. However hard does not equal real as any idiot can drive a car fast.
When you need to release a game and start anew. I think 5-6 years is that point.
