Most of the games PS3 got were already on the 360 so the devs knew what to do and already had engines to port and work on. Meaning that RR7 and FNR3 and Oblivion are 1st generation games on the PS3 but are 2nd generation. Lets compare it to the 360s 2nd generation games COD3 and PGR4. Yeah what now?
