when demand is much higher then the supply all though the demand is still not that higher. The amazing thing is how Sony said all their 200 million PS2s will reflect on PS3 yet they only have 1 million pre-orders world-wide and diminishing.

i know what your saying but look what restriction free has done to the PC and gullible people that have the internet.
if its restriction free there is nothing to stop people to getting around it and screwing up your PS3 gaming experience. BTW none of the PS3 protection will protect against allowed content being downloaded or transferred to your console. For example opening an e-mail or accepting a download. I'm not saying anything against it just that I don't like the idea of them making your 600$ investment a 2$ wh***.
to have the ability to control content on a network is very dangerous to other users. If I knew my 360 was open to spyware, hackers, viruses, and all other types of ill stuff they I would be worried. All it would take it a fake update that bricks PS3s. I would rather MS regulate the content being put on my 360 and me myself regulating it. BTW you go ahead and watch your PS3 slow down from spyware and trojans to a point where it can no longer play a PS1 game. No, to answer your main quest...
go watch the comparison video of tiger woods they look the same but the PS3 version is choppy compared to the 360 version.
closed networks have their advantages to. BTW it said some of the formats played 'ok' wtf does that mean? "no multimedia restrictions" yet "no AVI" how does that make any sense at all?
