What this announcement really means is that he will copy Home, re-release it with millions of dollars in ads. The media will proclaim it the greatest invention of modern time.

Just like the PS2 eyetoy became Kinect, with less hardcore games...

Owning Rare doesn't mean anything. Pretty much the whole staff left, all they have is the Rare name. That's why nothing important has come from them since Microsoft acquired them. That's like putting the disc from a crappy game, in the cover of a good game. It doesn't make the game on the disc any better. Rare has near zero reputation these days.

Turn Ten is amateur, not worth talking about. There are too many companies out there who can create your standard a...

Kinect is of no interest to any core gamer. It is completely useless fluff made for a casual market, and designed for casual players. No precision, no pride.

Yeah, talk to your screen like an idiot. I'll just use the quicker response mechanism of pressing a button. Yeah, those buttons were invented for a reason. Microsoft could release a crank required to power their games, yet you their blind fans would claim it was the greatest invention in gaming. It would be all: &quo...

360 fans think crushed detail, and blown out contrast make a game look better. Everyone else in the world prefers detail and proper contrast.

They are fairly equal, except for the 360 version having overly blown up contrast. Too much visual information is lost in the horrible contrast range.

Nothing to see here, both games look fairly even. As a comment mentioned above, these images are misleading; since most televisions have deeper contrast ranges. The PS3 looks better on a screen, while the 360 gets even more dark. If you have to give an edge, and can't settle for both just being fairly even. PS3 takes this o...

PS3 and 360 have the same amount of RAM; run along junior, you obviously know absolutely nothing about what you are talking about.

The processor is what matters, and the 360 is no where in the league of the PS3.

The multi-plat argument has been put to bed 3-4 years back, get with the times. The thing that matters is exclusives, where you can truly judge what a console is capable of without being tied down to serving the limitations of the dated hardware of an...

Soul Caliber is a complete joke, it always has been. Why not look for the top Mortal Kombat player while you are at it?

Complete waste of time.

360 fans, of course. FF went down hill the second they started aiming for a wider Western audience.

We just want them to stay Japanese.

I wonder if you mention that after every American sale update? You know, the only region 360 doesn't suck in.

I can't imagine how anyone would say the 360 version is superior, the same old blind bias. The PS3 version has the obvious edge.

"yes because live arcade, multiplatform games and kinect do not exist right??"

Multiplatform games do no differentiate a console from another. No one has ever sat around and said: "man, I know I have this game for my console, but I really want to go out and buy that other console for the same game; because someone thought that one texture looked better!"

Live arcade games and Kinect games... well most xbox owners, including myself would ho...

There are two things to consider:

1) It says "planting", not "plant". They may simply be referring to the AI state in which this gestation occurs. In other words, the enemy has "planted" itself, as if to be fortified.

2) If they were actually referring to a plant, this may be related to how the Cordyceps fungus works. The fungus kills the person/animal/insect and begins to grow. As the growth reaches its peak, it explodes to infe...

Actually most of those things could not pass as DLC. You can't change the main functionality of a game that needs to remain running off a disc, by optional content that is installed on the hard drive. It would have to have been planned with the release of the last one.

Not to mention how Microsoft has strict limitations to DLC that limit how many core files can be changed, and how big your content can be.

Changes to that scale could not be DLC, I've h...

When I saw this title, I immediately knew Nintendolts would be angry from the truth.

Face it, the main Nintendo games have been the same ol' thing for many years now; down to the same story line.

GT has no competition. It never really has had any. Forza marketing would want you to convince you they were competition, but they just want people to use Forza in the same sentence as GT, since Forza lacks quality and would never be mentioned otherwise.

Although Nintendo fans will cry and cry about it, the graphics of a game goes a long way to perceiving what quality standards the gameplay will live up to. If a studio is not willing to invest in graphics, it is rarely the only thing they didn't invest in. Ubi may be an exception, but outside of their Canadian branches; they really aren't.

I don't fully understand why so many people hate day one DLC. People whine that it is already on the disc, and was always planned. From a developers perspective, it just makes a lot more sense to design the DLC alongside your design phase. It is easier to pull it off when your full team is still on the same project. I worked on a game where the DLC was not originally planned, what ended up happening was that the members of the team moved on after the game was completed; which ended up mea...

Characters are usually modeled after living people, it is just becoming more noticeable with the increases in technology. Like Sam Fisher being modeled after George Clooney (I know the artist behind the original character design). You need to get references from somewhere, and most good artists use a hell of a lot of references.
