Countering the illogical rabid xbox fanboys since 2001

It's a good thing that Microsoft has progressively trumped them in the "worst" department every year since then.

Ponchos, Faked Kinect Demos, Cirque De Solei, Usher, and now the "all-in-one" television console, which requires a cable box.

Yikes!

Let's not forget about the bottom of an avatars shoe.... BAM!

*Fake Applause* (thanks for providing the audible clip, Microsoft!)

It's probably Killer Instinct

Sadly Rare is just a name now; all the employees left when Microsoft bought them.

Is this going to be the first Halo game in HD?

Microsoft tends to fluff their show with multi-platform games.

Sony has always been about the exclusives.

Get it right, at least..

You believe the people trying to sell you a product; instead of fellow consumers?

Good luck in life, kid.

Now your purchase of any xbox in the first place makes sense; Microsoft said to buy one.

"I don't understand why people need specifically worded sentences to see direct confirmation. Some people would only be happy if they literally heard/read 'No, you don't have to be connected ever.'"

It's a mentality that originated when Microsoft stepped into the scene. They made is so you cannot accept any statement or promise at word value. They intentionally have on multiple occasions pranced around topics by picking specific words. If you nee...

Maybe they'll create a tv show for those games to gain your interest.

4 generations running now...

Sony has been strong for years; but Microsoft has not had a good one in forever. Heck, I can only think of one good one they ever had.

They just lack enticing games; right about now the console is nearly unsupported.

What games that have online DRM?

Stop listening to rumours and believing them all.

4GB GDDR5 > 8GB DDR3

Your point is still incredibly invalid.

Heck, GDDR5 is a NEWER technology than DDR3; so again, your point is completely off the mark. DDR3 would have been around before the PS4 ideas even touched the drawing board.

So you are trying to say that Microsoft benefited from starting 3 years late; because they were able to use RAM that was available 4 years prior? Compared to Sony now utilizing RAM that is better in nearly e...

In fact, Sony's console is better in every single technical aspect. I also do not understand the point attempted here.

The GPU is at least 50% better; the RAM is not even a fair competition (it's GDDR; xbox can't touch that with DDR). The CPU in both are fairly even; but the PS4 will be handled better, due to the rest of the specs.

Sorry Dlacy; but what the heck are you talking about?

I can't wait for Microsoft to implement a solution like this 6 years from now; so we can all talk about how innovative they are.

What the heck; are we letting users post their personal blogs again? It's part of the reason I left months ago.

What kind of bull is this:

"With SmartGlass and the upgraded Kinect along with the slick-and-fits-in-a-glass-and- steel-office design of the One, it seems that Microsoft is innovating"

Kinect came after the Wii; which came after the EyeToy.

Smartglass came after the Wii-U; which came after PSP used wit...

The new kinect is horribly large; where the heck will you put that thing? It's also incredibly ugly and forced to be used.

Yikes.

The system is designed to be always on; you don't "unplug" it. That's just dumb. Microsoft should instead not force their casual-kinect device on everyone.

They might be able to compete with the race-like Forza franchise; but they are many years of research and talent off from competing with Gran Turismo on a real simulation game.

4667d ago 4 agree3 disagreeView comment

Are they going to cut out 70-100+ Million customers; because they fear some of them might sell the copies they bought?

Not likely. If PS4 doesn't budge; EA has no choice. They live and die off being multi-platform. If they will not be; their competitors will.

Let's also not forget that Fifa is a world brand; you don't appeal to markets outside of the States with an Xbox.

Microsoft has not been upfront at all; where have you been hiding?

They were caught red handed; just like their conference with the guy using a clicker in his pocket to switch Kinect "channels"; or the fake crowd applause.

Are you really talking about being upfront?

Should we continue on to the multiple faked Kinect videos during previous conferences?

Microsoft is not being upfront about:

The intent of the reveal was to overload everyone with all the horrible features of the console; features alone that should detract anyone from coming 10 feet from the thing (literally, as you are always being recorded).

Now they plan to use E3 to gloss over all the horrible; people will see the usual multi-platform games and tired franchises; then forget to ask the legitimate questions.

Microsoft is counting their current Azure servers and misrepresenting them to pretend as if they are exclusive to the Xbox One. If they were using Azure; they would not have access to 80% of those servers. Even then; I'm being generous.

Next, they are fabricating the server count to suggest that they have 300,000 physical servers. In actuality; they are likely running hundreds to thousands of virtual server instances on a much more reduced amount of physical servers.
