I always loved Twisted Metal and I can't freakin wait for this one. I'd say any exclusive game has the potential to be a system seller, it just depends what certain audiences are looking for at the time. If I didn't already have a PS3 then I would definitely buy one for Twisted Metal, mainly because of my love for the originals.
Nice counter-metaphor
My issue with it is that DLC should be an afterthought. I wish that the developers would focus on polishing the core game instead of working on the DLC. When the game releases is when I feel the DLC development should begin.
I totally understand where Jaffe is coming from, its just I pretty much feel DLC should only be worked on after the game is out because I don't like the idea of splitting resources when the initial game could be getting more polish.
Its not just you. This guy I know at the gamestop said he has never had anyone bring in a scratched blu-ray with those 'play' scratches that dvds/cds get. There was only one time there was a scratch and it wasn't a play scratch, it looked like someone took a key and ran it down the disc.
Scratch proof is another reason why blu-ray > dvd
Blu-rays are scratch proof... unless you use them as coasters, or a frisbee for playing fetch w/ the dog. But what kind of psycho would do that??
Worst reason to steal EVER!! She doesn't even have enough money for food, but she decides the kinect is an absolute necessity. Give me a f#ckin break.
Dumb soap opera is dumb
I'm sure its just some maintenance. This is exactly why Sony tells people when they are doing maintenance, So idiots don't go into a crying, whining, over-exaggerated freakout.
"Obviously there are going to be great games on the PlayStation 3, and we respect that, but our goal is to have the most blockbuster titles and the most exclusives and I think we clearly have that this year."
Really? Where are they then?!
Kinect games count as 'blockbuster' titles now?? The proof is in the pudding, not from your flapping gums. Give evidence or stfu Greenberg
I'd rather get DLC sooner than later, but thats just me. It keeps the game fresh. I just wish they'd add more Operations maps.
Yep I use it quite a bit with a few of my friends. You can vid chat w/ 5 other people at once. It also has a vid chat feature in a couple of PSN games.
I would add LBP as one of Playstations 'defining' games. A game unlike any other, its a one of a kind experience that can only be found on one platform, the PS3.
Please give me your perception of what a 'sandbox' game is.
How about you actually play it instead of basing your opinion on youtube videos.
Stupid AI, poor pacing, and poor story. The only thing the game has going for it is the graphics. Definitely not a GOTY contender
agreed
They did say before that in GOW3 the sex would actually be 'meaningful',
I feel the same way. I can wait 3-4 years for another GOW if it means we get a new IP from this incredible team.
It was in development for PC as well up until a year before release. Then MS canned that version.
It looked beautiful on PC, and then they compressed the shit out of it to get it working on 360. Taking a beautiful game and then completely destroying all the hard work put into it just to make it exclusive on a inferior platform. I'm sure Remedy is seriously regretting taking it off PC.
