Wow, this is getting serious.
This may be hard for you to believe but the RRoD was a serious problem that literally kills your console, whereas this situation only reflects that you can't play online. Hardly in the same ballpark as far as problems go.
So because the 360 got alot of negative press (and deservedly so), that means the same deserves to happen to the PS3?! You feel that 'its only fair', which is petty in itself. I can see the bitterness in your tone and it clearly shows your hostil...
Its a list based off of opinion of course. My top 5 are...
LittleBigPlanet 2
Portal 2
Mortal Kombat
Killzone 3
InFamous 2 beta
in no particular order
They made it possible to do cross-platform co-op and giving out free DLC... How exactly is that treating their customers like crap?? Its mind blowing how stupid some people can be.
I don't get what all the hype is about... That looked really cheesy, uneventful, and boring. Thats the first gameplay vid I've ever seen of the game and it seems awful.
I gave you the benefit of the doubt in that other article, but now I know you're just trolling. Hopefully when you get older you'll grow out of this pathetic/delusional phase.
*scratches head*
What are you talking about?! What 'tech demo' are you referring to??
I use PSN cards for my purchases anyway so the breach won't affect my buying decisions. But even if I did use a credit card it wouldn't matter. No one has actually had someone making fraudulent charges so theres nothing to be worried about.

They're everywhere
Sony already told you why they shut the PSN down last week. It was a security breach. Now they are looking to find the cause.
Please think before you speak.
Ya if BF3 comes out when MW3 does then I'm definitely getting BF3 first. As well as UC3.
I don't know whether to laugh, or facepalm...
Censorship...
I hate it
Yes it is...
Would a coroner state a cause of death without examining the body first?? Absolutely not.
Case in point
Its Getaway 3...
Guaranteed
I think these rumors are getting way out of hand. The only people that actually know what is/isn't affected is Sony. None of us will really know what had happened until they get the PSN back up again.
The past week its been "News 4 PSN Conspiracy Theories", and its getting really old.
Stopped reading after...
"After being put on hold for about thirty minutes I was given a confirmation code and informed that I would be contacted via telephone within 24 hours with the free arcade game codes. Two more months passed and I once again attempted to contact Xbox Live support."
If it takes you 2 months to call them again then you're out of luck in my opinion. You obviously didn't care enough about the games since you didn't fol...
Its nothing like the RRoD. I can still use my console, I'm currently typing this message using my PS3.
If we are comparing it to anything than its just like having an Xbox 360 but without paying for Xbox Live.
RRoD is a severe over-exaggeration. I've been playing the SP of MK and Portal 2 all week. I'd like to see you try doing that on a RRoD 360. Plus RRoD was an ongoing problem for months, the PSN has only been down a week.
"Sony's actions over the past week have shown their complete and utter indifference to their consumers"
What actions?? Trying to find and fix the problem as soon as possible, and shutting down PSN to prevent any further damage/security breaches.
I'd say Sony did exactly what they needed to do. You act like Sony caused the breach in the first place, it wasn't there fault. Thats like blaming the Japanese for the tsunami just because they ...
@Blad3star
Umm no, they didn't actually promise that. Try reading the ToS next time. As stated in the Terms of Service you agreed to when signing up for the PSN...
