I did a facepalm because exclusives are really the only important thing. Sure its another multi-plat but exclusives are what make you decide whether to buy a console or not.

Ummm no he didn't say that. He said they are looking into different ways to play it and they aren't sure which route they are taking, but so far they are really liking where its going with Kinect. He didn't actually say that its confirmed to have controller support.
I think they also have to flesh out some sort of story because just traversing an island for 6 or so hours would get kind of bland after a while. There needs to be something more to it. But overall I thought it looked great.

If you want a steady stream of innovative new IPs then buy a PS3, simple as that. This is the only core title for Xbox through winter of 2012. Hopefully Gears and Forza will last you guys an entire year.

What they are saying is time spent integrating Kinect could be spent polishing the actual game. So yes, it could actually have a negative effect on the overall game. I'm not saying it will, but it does have that possibility.

Did you pull down the developer tools menu so you could actually see all of the glyphs?? Some of them were hidden if you didn't shrink the menu down a bit.

I highly suggest picking it up soon before the servers go down at the end of the year. One of the best parts was the online interaction with the messages and phantoms (co-op & PvP).
The game isn't too difficult, it just takes time to learn from your mistakes and how to adapt to each one of the different enemies/bosses.

People mock everyone. It doesn't just occur with gaming. It can range from certain sports, music, hobbies, etc. Alot of the time when something doesn't interest a person or they don't like it they make fun of it. Happens everywhere, not every single thing is widely accepted by every single person. Fact of life, this just happens to be our main interest so we notice the mocking more. I don't care if non-gamers like it or not, I still enjoy gaming and thats all that matters.
They could always do it like one of those sing-a-long disney movies where you read the lines as they appear on the screen. ;)
