There are different ways the story can branch out. Cole could be revived w/ lightning, possibly. I mean who would've ever thought John would be able to come back from being vaporized.

No MS does not. They have a contract that the game will be exclusive up until Gears 3. After that Epic can do whatever they want with the franchise. Epic owns the IP, not MS.
I would play Gears if it came to the PS3, but I'm not gonna go and buy a 360 just for that one game. The rest of the library doesn't really grab my interest.

well in the same way john survived the ray sphere blast. I think Cole's electric powers will basically restart his heart, like how he does a pulse heal for everyone else. I'm certain they'll bring him back, but its gonna be hard showing the game to anyone cause its like "oh major spoiler, here he is again"
They really need to just remove aim assist on all sniper rifles. A true sniper should have actual skill.

But if they want a game that has the quality to surpass a multiplatform title then they would need to make it exclusive. No matter how you slice it an exclusive always has the (potential) advantage to be superior to any multi-platform title. Its just on the developer making the game to do so.
Any game optimized for a specific hardware will always be better quality wise because it doesn't have to make compromises and sacrifices to accommodate for an entirely different fram...

Another good review. They just keep piling in. I've only seen 3 reviews that were below an 8. Everything else has been really good, which is not surprising since the game is awesome.
