The game looks pretty fun but i hear it only has 5 worlds, though expandable worlds.. I wonder how long it will take to finish it.
I thought that, it will probably run at 60fps too instead of the 30 that the Wii U will give. Though we haven't seen the NX version yet which supposedly will have better graphics.
I'm surprised how quickly this emulator has evolved, it's running well on even lower mid range systems pretty well judging by some YT videos and stated specs.
Loved Worms 2 when i played it on my first PC back in 98, was literally one of the only games i could play online without lag because of the pesky dial up connection, then WA/WWP.
I wonder if we can share maps automatically, come to think of it custom speech banks should be auto sent to players these days, i mean even if they gave us a limit of 2-3MB custom speech banks per player, it would be nothing size wise to auto send online so others can hear our custom sounds.
For people who complain, it's not like there weren't Sonic games like the originals in the early 2000's anyway like the GBA and DS games, which were all good.
The thing some people forget is that even though consoles are indeed better to optimize for, it's also simple to buy a more powerful GPU on PC than the console equivalent.. making the optimization advantage it has pretty much redundant, unless of course you are really stuck to a strict budget and can't afford a more powerful upper midrange GPU, which would still wipe the floor with the console.
Right, the 980Ti spanked the Fury X even though the Fury X had more Tflops, at least at 1080p and 1440p anyways.
DF showed you can get pretty much identical performance on a PC at roughly the same cost as a console, and for 2x+ more cost you get more powerful hardware that gives a lot more to frame rates.
More powerful hardware on PC will always beat out optimization of consoles, even if the GPU's are only say 10% or greater more powerful than the graphics chip of the console in question.
Consoles are in fact more optimized, but even Digital Foundry showed you can make a capable PC for roughly the same price as a console even if FPS sometimes isn't always quite as consistently high as the console.
And for double the price you can get a fair amount more frame rate wise over a console, basically having more powerful hardware will still beat out consoles by a large margin no matter what the optimization is like.
SR1 was decent but it lacked some things already in GTA.
I personally think GTA Vice City and San Andreas are the most fun in the genre. SR went from kinda half serious to plain over the top, the problem with over the top is that it can become boring a little quickly IMO.
Like another review site mentioned it was like having cheats enabled almost through the entire game of SR 4, not to say it's a bad game.. it's decent, but i think it loses a sens...
I'm sure many SJW's will be pleased about this..
Agreed, lets hope it is challenging on top of being fun.
Basically I'd rather own a great PC and maybe a console, or handheld instead.
I like upgrades since it keeps games fresh and at better frame rates, so every 2 years or so i would just upgrade my GPU and eventually the rest of the system when needed.
Consoles would be better with 3-4 year upgrade cycles IMO, like kinda stated in the actual article like you said. I think some people here just read the title on N4G and didn't bother with the rest ;D ...
Valve owns it and they made L4D2, apparently that's why a sequel came out so quickly (just 1 year in fact) after the first game by Turtle Rock. People keep saying they won't make new games anymore but i mean it would almost be pointless to develop Source 2 if that were the case.
There were leaked screens some time back of the L4D2 plantation map remade in Source 2, not sure if they were genuine but it looked pretty real to me.
I'd just go wit...
Damn that's actually looking really good, reminds me of Rayman Origins/Legends a bit visually.
I watched one of their videos where one guy said "has there ever been a good Sonic game" or something and i turned it off, i didn't even bother to watch it.
I bet if it were Mario they would have said different, way too biased. And to say there hasn't been a good Sonic game not even once according to them is just plain ignorant.
With many blaming certain people from the Middle East lately, all i can think of is Coach's quote from Left 4 Dead 2 "Man, this about to get all Baghdad and s**t"
You know there's a big problem with the place when it's referenced in a game like that.
School aged, always with the schools.
I only agree because Pascal so far has shown completely ridiculous pricing, at least for the 1080 and Titan.
I could never get into Payday, i only played it for 20 minutes. For some reason i just couldn't connect with it, which is odd because i like the L4D games. Maybe something is off with the feel of the game or the controls? Not quite sure to be honest.
No idea if i will like this but if it's the same feel as Payday then probably not.
Well if it is a handheld hybrid, the good thing is that all developers will be working on one machine instead of 2, meaning first party games should release at a steady pace at least.
Of course 3rd party support would be welcomed, this is why I hope that if it is a hybrid console Nintendo will decide to go with the new Tegra X2 chip.
