To be honest what i want out of the Switch is some great Snes revivals, i want to see Pilot Wings, Star Fox, the 3D Mario, and a bunch of others.. without gimmicks and greatly expanded.
Pilot Wings on the 3DS was quite good but it was lacking a bit in content, i didn't feel it was as fleshed out as it could have been. Hell I'd be happy if Sega revived Streets of Rage in 2.5D and brought it to the Switch, would love a new Desert Strike or something similar, Road Rash...
Yea i really enjoyed the game, especially since the gameplay is much like Starfox.
I still go to one now and again to play the fruit/slot machines, there aren't as many arcade video games these days as there used to be but there are still some like that newer Mario Kart etc.
The point is it's something different than gaming in your house, you get a different atmosphere there and it gives you a break to be out.
The odd game or 2 on PC are already pushing RAM requirements up, Planet Coaster is 12GB for recommended spec. Today decent PC's are recommending 16GB, i upgraded to 32GB earlier this year. 12GB is a decent sweet spot for a powerful console released next year, so yea i don't think the Scorpio will be very cheap tbh, though they will obviously try and make it as best a price as possible to avoid it being a sales flop.
It's Nvidia, they always hype stuff up. Always the same with their GPU's and are always more vocal than AMD about things.. well usually.
Streets of Rage would be amazing as a 2.5D revival, not sure if a 3D game would work.. i mean sure they could test it and see how it does, but a 2.5D one should be great.
@SmielmaN agreed, Streets of Rage 2 was a great game and would love to see a 2.5D revival of it, i also loved Final Fight CD.. great music in that one, though much harder than Streets of Rage IMO.
Agreed, i play L4D2 way too much still to this day.. Most fun co-op game IMO.
Looking on a Reddit post though, someone there mentioned that he spoke to someone at Valve and basically told him that any developers shouldn't wait on Source 2. They are still waiting on a game to bring out before devs get the tools to make a game using Source 2. So who knows when we will hear about the new game.
Really liked the leaked screens of the L4D2 plantation remade...
Played a while back on Vita, pretty fun in short bursts.
12GB of ram recommended for this game, quite surprising.
Yea like GTA San Andreas, don't get me wrong because the game was huge.. even the story had well over 100 missions, but with how large the whole map was they probably could have had a ton more missions or things to do. A large portion of it was wasted land.
I remember playing the multiplayer mod to SA with 200 players and even then there was room for more.
You don't get my main point obviously, also age is irrelevant and i don't see how that has ANYTHING to do with what i was talking about.
I can tell from your posts that you just like arguing with people also with those subtle sly personal digs. Well done.
Seems odd if they are going to do ports of current games, usually they do 1 new game per console for some games.. like Mario Kart, so does that mean there will only be ports of these games and no new ones? Either way though I've not really been much a fan of Smash Bros, i got bored of it quite quickly and don't really get it, so to speak. Imo it seems a bit simplistic and repetitive, or maybe i just didn't spend enough time with it.
This is a good example of why physical media or full file downloads, are better than streaming quality.. that goes for sites other than YouTube too.
Audio and video quality is a bit better playing it through Bluray rather than streaming, you can get slight break up artifacts during motion scenes and the picture quality isn't quite as good as directly through the disc.
Same goes for music CD's, MP3 quality isn't very far off but the clarity of instruments can't be mistaken when listening to the same song on a CD, it might be subtle sometimes but the differences are definitely there especially if the bitra...
The fact that it can be upgraded with future SoC's makes it interesting, if they can promise at least 2-3 generations of new chips will actually work with the handheld then it could turn out to be pretty powerful.
To be honest I'm not sure if I'd prefer this over the Switch, since the Switch will get its hardware utilised better by developers and games will be made for that device only. I would at least like to try the Smach Z though to see what it's like pl...
@Hoffmann lets see a video of you going to work & loading up some animated nudity with everyone else seeing it and see what happens, you don't think you'd get in trouble for it and that it is SFW?
It is animated porn, and it has always been labelled as such.. if it wasn't then it would be suitable for all ages.
The people who run YT don't care, I've had good videos removed that were within fair use and still got removed. I see others breaking rules like using copyrighted music in their own videos and they have been there for years.
A lot of things on YouTube don't make sense. Who knows how they work, they just make up rules as they go along it seems.
Pretty much, thats how it goes for PC monitors too.. since we moved away from CRT technology we took a step backwards in that regard, anything less than native resolution looks worse than it should.
Saying that i heard some say 1080p Blurays look pretty good upscaled to 4K.
It can be great fun tbh, though the pace is a bit different to the first game. Still needs tweaking too, i feel once we get another boss and maybe some mid bosses, flying zeds and the other 2 extra game modes then it will be much better.
I hope that the Objective mode is more fleshed out than the first game, too.
