Eh, each to his own. I remember picking up Wonder Boy in Monster World for the Megadrive in ASDA, it was in a basket pile of price reduced games. Really enjoyed it.
Basically if one is a fan of platformers like Shantae, then they would enjoy this.
Not everyone likes everything, hence different scores and taste.
Nvidia know how to wind buyers up big time, many people thought that the 2080Ti was taking the slot of the Titan line, hence the high price. Now a new Titan has been revealed at an even more insane price.
Really glad i didn't buy into this gen of trash, ray tracing is obviously too early on these cards too. 7nm should fetch us some decent prices next year hopefully with AMD being more competitive.
Nobody pays attention to age ratings, evident by hearing kids screaming over mics in mature rated games. A lot of double standards going on in the comments on this site.
With the amount of kids i hear screaming over mics these days in mature games, I'd say parents don't care.. So that's a little troubling.
I bet many parents don't let their 10 year old watch horror films either, so why let them play adult games where they pick up on foul language among other things? Makes no sense.
CT was a fun game in shorter bursts between other games, CT2 did it better since it had those mission modes and stuff.. even though it was practically almost the same as the first game.
I really don't get why they would make a HL2 prequel as a VR only game either.. What about people who want to play it who don't have a VR headset, or those that don't like the current state of VR?
Probs censoring so lil kids can't see the nudity. Good in a way.. since most anime isn't kid friendly anyways.
Using language like that isn't much better now is it? I guess the f word has started to wear out now that people mindlessly say it everywhere.
Parents are half the problem, tired of hearing little kids on the microphone in older teen & mature games.. It's also hilarious that they use the word "mature" in game ratings when so many morons are in multiplayer.
Played this a ton on the PS1, one of my favourite retro games.
Oddworld, great game.
But I'm not interested, looks like there's not even a resolution boost, at least Nintendo had that with their classic editions.
1440p and 90+fps is the sweet spot with a high hz monitor. Not sure why people think 60fps is like a golden standard. It's smooth sure, but when you hit 90-100+ it turns super buttery smooth.
Hopefully it comes sooner than later.
Third game is way overdue, already played the crap outta #2 at 1440p 165hz, the high hz makes a big difference in moderate/faster paced games, especially when you hit around 90-100fps consistently.
Got my first one in 2009, 128gb.. Was pretty pricey back then, like 250 quid, but it cut boot times and game load times down a lot, i was usually first in MP loading by at least 5-10 seconds over others.
I have a Samsung 512GB 840 Pro still going strong now too, i might pick up a new Adata SX8200 Pro M2 SSD when they launch soon.
VC was way better than GTA 3. VC had humour, so did the stories games and SA, 3 was way off the mark as it was too dark IMO and a bit boring to play.
Wonder if they would get Ray back for the voicing, as usual though a new game would probably completely ignore past characters.. Though VC stories did surprise me with Lance so..
Makes me think of anime, they make endless episodes of Pokemon which is almost the same thing over and over, yet never bother to finish anime that have no endings.
An average rating is 6 and I'm pretty sure Sonic Mania got 8's in some reviews along with 7's (not sure), so yea..
Not played it, but you're welcome to your own opinion as is everyone else. Besides I'm not really sure where some get the idea that average = bad.
It'll probably be almost a carbon copy of the previous games, that is to say.. Not interested, they don't have enough depth to hold my attention.
The guy has a 6.7 in the background of the image, what a fail. Anything 6 is ranked as average, and it's all personal taste.. what one reviewer says don't mean jack shit.
Free to play = here come more cheaters than ever.
