If you play fast paced games like FPS's the difference is certainly there if you play at 1080/1440p with a high refresh rate monitor at say 100+hz.
Surprised they're not using Zen 2, as the chips are rumoured to be at least on par or better than Intel's current CPUs in single thread performance, plus possibly up to 16 cores.
Zen+ however is a big leap for consoles, and while the 1ghz+ less clocks is to be expected because of size/cooling limitations, games should be getting quite a bit more advanced, so PC gamers benefit too.
Didn't realise some people could count, of course 7 is a positive score. Many would have you believe that anything less than solid 9+'s are trash though. And from seeing some critics of games/films i can see that quite a few contradict themselves when it comes to scores, proving subjective taste at least half of the time.
Monster World was a little gem on the Megadrive IMO.
I wonder why they decided to keep with a third person view? I don't have an issue with it, but it would have been nice to have maybe both first and third person as options.

To be fair their whole new lineup of GPUs is overpriced, the cards have literally doubled in price in the last 2 generations. Nvidia probably taking a leaf from Apple's book.
I wonder if this is related to the HL VR game, though since it's apparently been in development for a while i guess they wouldn't need him at this point? Unless they are making a HL game that's not VR related. Or a new L4D or something.
Who knows what's going on, many things have been said like a new L4D due for release and nearing completion etc etc.. and it hasn't really been accurate has it.
I'd rather physical for most stuff, including some films & anime. They have no resale value in digital form, plus you have them whenever you want which isn't guaranteed with digital, since you rely on a service.
I prefer the second but if they remake the first even better with maybe a bit more content.. guess it might be good.

People don't seem to realise how fast the price has risen on the Ti cards, 980Ti was just acceptable.. and since then it has risen basically 2x. Nvidia just push and push with the pricing. Too much influence from Apple, another company that sells overpriced hardware.
Maybe cuz everyone has different taste? That's why you can't always trust review scores. Some reviewers can be way over critical too.
Tried 2 other games in the series, never really understood the fuss.. same with Pokemon. But at least i learned just because something is popular doesn't mean I'm also going to like it.
Nvidia needs to support Freesync officially.. i know there's supposed to be a hacky way to get it to work if you run both NV and AMD cards together but it seems a bit silly just to do that. The Gsync screens can already run it, so they should just enable it.
Damn, that's quite a selection of Kart racers on the Switch.. guess I'll probs get it for that.
At the right price i think they could be worth it when modded, like when they're sold off cheap.. and being mass market products that is bound to happen.
If i were on a tight budget and i could either have this or a console, I'd definitely choose the console.
I'd pick one up at £150-£200 though, I'm guessing they will hit that sometime next year. They can already be had at some places for £300, so at £200 or below i think it's a fair price.. and probably easily moddable with a Pi or something. eBay have the next best already made cabinets, but they're over £500. Having an anime avatar i would have assumed you'd know how sexual it can be, much of it being aimed at a mature audience.. of course there is some less pervy stuff, just not too much of it.
